Now most screens come with eye protection, but this is not a guarantee, I agree that you need to use glasses and reduce the time spent in front of the screen

What I have been doing mostly to take care of my eyes is that I will wear my glasses when I am sitting in front of my computer. This helps me reduce the tension from staring at my computer for long periods of time. What I have learned to do is take frequent breaks to give my eyes some rest.

When it is necessary, I also use clear eyes to reduce the redness around my eyes. I also reduce the brightness level on my computer screen by setting a timer. The timer truly helps to properly adjust your computer's screen brightness throughout your day.

I try to get plenty of sleep to rest my eyes and not have headaches due to staring at a computer screen for long periods of time. If needed I also want to make sure to have a good amount of space between me and computer screen.

I use option (2) to reduce the brightness of the screens, and also keep the screens at least 50 cm away from my eyes. I take regular breaks from screens to rest my eyes and I also wear glasses when needed.

My eyes have definitely deteriorated over the years & I blame my screen time. I am guilty of being on devices & in  front of a computer screen far too often. I always tell myself I will reduce my screen time but I never do.

The 20-20-20 rule can help, have a read about it here.

I move the screen away from my eyes, and reduce the light. staring at gadgets for too long, makes the eyes uncomfortable.

my screen brightness is always very bright even though i have reduced it. so I can only keep my eyes a bit away from the phone. but sometimes i download a screen dimmer app, and make it a bit dim. but it crashes other apps. so I had to remove it, and my screen brightness brightened again.

I always keep the screen away from my eyes and reduce the brightness of the gadget. so the screen brightness is not too bright to my eyes.

I must say I use both phones at work and at home almost 14hrs a day, and laptop at work almost the whole 8 hrs too at work. I only realised one day that I was actually not having my sight as strong as before, then decided to start using red eye 👁️ on my phone and reduced brightness on laptop at work. I never thought if using glasses.

Thanks 👍 for the idea.

I personally wear glasses, reduce my gadgets brightness and activate the Bluefilter/Nightmood starting from 7pm.

Activating the blue light filter on your gadgets after a certain time of day is something that everyone should do. I also wear blue light blocking glasses if I know I’m going to be working on the computer for a long time at night. It makes a noticeable difference with how your eyes feel. I think those two things have to help, but of course the best solution would be to make sure you’re looking at some real life light from time to time.

I always do. I even wear special glasses. But my eyesight is still going down.
I work all day in front of a computer, so there is no avoiding stress.

My screen time is way too high. I really should do something about it, I always have good intentions but never back them up with actions. My eyesight isn’t great any way so I really should try harder to limit my screen time.

I personally wear glasses, reduce my gadgets brightness and activate the Bluefilter/Nightmood starting from 7pm. But my eyes still get red  and tired from the light rays. The best solution to avoid any eye strain is to stop looking at any screen at a certain time of the day... at least that's what worked for me.

This time is the generation that people spend so much time watching through screen(through phones, laptops, televisions and other gadgets). Too much of the light rays emitted by these gadgets are not good for our eyes. It makes humans to develop eye problems in no distant time. This is why technology no has settings to mitigate the effect of the light rays(eyes care or night mood). You that is always on the screen, how do you manage your eyes.
(1) You use glasses
(2)You always reduce the gadgets brightness
(3)You keep the screen far from your eyes
(You do nothing)
You are right this is what most people suffer today, you will see young people having eye problem at early stage because of the kind of things we involved ourselves.

Thank you for this enlightenment on eye protection as to prevent our eyes from damage from the light I recently got some anti-screen light protection glasses for my personal use to protect against eye strain.
