At least Japanese company presidents bow deeply and apologize when they screw over lots of people.

I couldn't understand his accented English, so I will trust that the Japanese is a correct translation of what he said, which was absolutely nothing. He said even less than Obama's worthless speech on Ukraine a few hours ago.

Well, when hate is combined with lost bitcoin it produces arrogant behaviour.

Well Obama's speech is worthless he cant even say NO!

Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time.
Yes, this should be posted here.

Karpeles is reported to have bowed 'deeply for several minutes' at the start of the press conference at Tokyo District Court, as MtGox filed for protection from bankruptcy today.  From what I can gather, this video covers the extent of his few comments made in English.  As they weren't worth a satoshi, just take a good look.

Quote
Reporter:  "People really want to know what happened.  What's the real story behind it?"
Karpeles:  "Well, we are working on it and, anyway, in the meantime, we are sorry for troubles caused by this...  So, we had a problem with system that caused a loss to, err, in Bitcoins to our customers and, err, we identified the problem. We are working on this."
Lawyer:  [Translated] "In principle, we don't believe that by having the CEO remain in his position that it is possible to regain trust. As such, at the appropriate time, by having him depart, we hope to look for new sponsors."
Reporter:  "Mark, do you have any other last comments?"
Karpeles:  "Grin"
