Knowing bitcoin is already getting its space over the wolrd, we dont know how long it will take to be accepted from big companies, merchants and countries, but this will happen.

More companies are already accepting it. The latest I read is from KimDotCom,to be launch on 2017. Bitcoin is becoming mainstream and as many company accepting or utilizing it, I am optimistic that the price will follow.
It can not be mainstream its always the best to be called it as the best alternative. like paypal.
We know more and more companies are accepting bitcoins right now but there some site still not like amazon..
I would personally rather have Bitcoin be called an alternative rather than a primary means of payment, and the mostly stems from the fact that too many people joining too quickly and demanding that more places accept Bitcoin would cause more laws and taxes to be imposed sooner rather than later. Something I don't want to happen.

well, no one likes restriction, taxes, and regulation but these things are good for adoption of bitcoin. you have to think long term and look at the bigger picture.
right now many companies and businesses, small or big are resisting to add bitcoin payment because it is not regulated and they find it a hassle but if it was regulated a lot more people and merchants will start trusting it and using it so a lot more demand will come because of it and the price will go to the moon.

Yes, time will come that it will be accepted on different stores and will be included on mode of payment of restaurants, theaters, online stores, and other establishment.  It could also happen that your employer will gives you an option if you want your salary be in cash or be in bitcoin.  As long as we keep on patronizing bitcoin it will surely have a good fate.  It will have a good future!

The Fate of Bitcoin – Will it be Bitcoin Core, or Something Else? :
The closed-door meeting between Bitcoin Core developers and miners has affected the prices. Bitcoin price has been exhibiting a downward trend from the past few days. The fall in Bitcoin price is attributed to uncertainties regarding the outcome of the meeting between Bitcoin Core developer group and miners.

in case you didn't know my Newbie friend, bitcoin price wend down because of the huge hack that happened a couple of days ago. one of the biggest exchanges called bitfinex was hacked and they lost 119,000 BTC which created a temporary panic selling.
so stop spreading FUD.

Quote
In a recent tweet, the founder of Litecoin Charlie Lee states the Bitcoin Civil War to be over. It is quite a cryptic message considering there is no concrete information available about the discussions at the meeting.
It is time the Bitcoin community gets to know about any new developments before the value of bitcoin takes a huge hit, reigniting the concerns raised during Bitcoin reward halving.

again all the things you say has nothing to do with bitcoin price.
OK . sir , I don't know that !! Thanks

The fate of bitcoin will be decided when all the fighting stops amongst the dev and anyone else who is involved then maybe the important issues like the block size debate are finally sorted out.
Once bitcoin is running smoothly with everybody on the same page (if that is possible) then it will be too the moon!
Then Moon will not be the limit even !! It goes more higher !!

Getting consensus within the developers seems to be impossible.
Everybody agrees that the blocksize issue is a problem, but we seem to be no closer to solving it.

core is going to be the leading one all the time, everything began with it and right now it cannot be just easily replaced by any other group in my opinion

Every wallet has it's audience i guess, but core seams to be the leading role to me as well. The only thing that iritates me is insanely slow
sync, unreasonably long loading times, and overall slow and laggy experience - but hey, it's a full node and it works.

On the other news, i really hope the information about unrest between inner bitcoin circles coming to an end, even tho
i don't consider C.L. to be a really credible person for bitcoin matters (being a altcoin developer himself, thus kind of biased..)

It would be a great relief if people would focus a little less on the fiat valuation of BTC, but a little bit more on the technological progress that has taken place in the recent months. In that regard, Bitcoin is stronger than ever and I'm very confident that it will be able to meet future requirements.

Hearn and Andresen tried to launch a power grab to set direction for a centralized Bitcoin to please governments and to make surveillance easy. Their FUD campaign found some support among the uninformed and unscrupulous. Fortunately, their plan failed as it was proven wrong by reality. I'm hopeful that the discord instilled by their actions will fade with time and the community will unite again.
