If theres really a Flippening, then why did the ETH traders run with their tails between their legs when the BTC whales started to dump? Shouldnt they be holding their ground and keep pumping ETH?
The same my thoughts. Why are they dumping ethereum when bitcoin get dump? I keep telling people bitcoin is not in competition to another coin yet. I don't see anything flipping here. I bought ethereum but I have to sell it because bitcoin was dropping.

Because ETH is also anchored to BTC Smiley It is the BTC that is used to push the ETH, and ETH was mostly peg to BTC and not the dollar. When BTC is dump, so is the value of ETH in my opinion.

ETH traders will claim that BTC holders got jittery when ETH started going down.
Correlation is one thing, trying to prove causation is very difficult.

If there are people who should be jittery right now, its the ETH holders. All of those ICOs will fail because of the inability of ETH to scale and support all those ICOs.

I think it's just the big whales getting all their profits out, they pump for a few days both ETH and BTC, then they dump on all those who come to buy last. It's market traders, this is what they do, they want instant day trading profits and fast, they don't care about tomorrow or anyone else for that matter.
