Only some days now, and we have witnessed a rise in the price of PMS. The funny thing and why many Nigerians notice this is because we were still on the issue of price of commodities rising and praying that the FCCPC ensure price accuracy and while many marketers were being sceptical on adjusting to the new prices, PMS marketers decide to increase price of PMS, thus making every person pay extra.
NNPC has said there's still product availability but we can see locally that it isn't the reality of things.
Something needs to be done because we aren't seeing any reasonable improvement and while the president gives a speech and cites everything as being okay, the poor man gets poorer and standard of living is only much affordable by the rich and powerful.

Everybody just Dey talk their own for the country wey I no sure say things go better like before again, the way person Dey live for this country now sef sometimes you go fit pray say make the world finish make everybody go die, since when I grow up I never see anything for Naija wey the price come down, every time na high e Dey go, I have beginning to ask, na this country we always said we are proud of ? To be honest our leaders don make our country looks like a country where the citizens are always seen it as a bad country.

Funny enough, I recently saw a video where a lady was complaining about this same fuel situation in 1994, that's to tell you that for over 30 years, we've not been able to sort out ourselves.

A liter of fuel here in my area is #500, and black marketers are selling at #700 plus..
I personally do not think your assumptions concerning this matter is true, because the issue of fuel scarcity started a few month back towards the end of 2022, I personally think this is a planned strategy because of the coming presidential election, i am not saying am sure about this, but this is my assumption.
if like you said, NNPC is the course of the whole fuel scarcity in the country, how then do you explain the issue with light, the new naira note they've deliberately refused to give to the common man out here, a lot of issues in this country currently..

In the coming months, dem so sell fuel or should I say, we go buy fuel at N400 per liter. If una look wetin dey happen, una suppose don observe say dem dey increase the price small sake of say Naija don too tire to complain. So we just take any price wey dem give us. If you got PMS for 200 naira today, na em be say you get am cheap. In some parts of Lagos State right now, as scarce as the product is, it is sold for 290naira per litre.
God knows that the confusion in this Naija is just too much. Maybe na to go buy small horse wey I go begin use.

According to our government, they've been doing a turn around maintenance of this refineries for God knows how long. I believe the whole subsidy of a thing, is more like government racketeering. That is where the big Boys in the government are cashing out on large scale.
