Would you be interested in auctioning it? You can set the starting bid at your absolute bottom price and see what happens from there.

Nice piece.   I called every library on Long Island and NYC.  The few that had old copies of the UK times had this particular issue missing.

I have a couple original Normal Rockwell WWII propaganda posters framed. You definitely want to get them done by a professional that knows the correct glass and paper to use so it doesn't get ruined. Likely will be $150-200 to get it properly framed.

Had no intention of getting involved with all this drama, BUT I feel compelled to encourage you to listen to Krogoth here. The clips make me physically ill to look at.

No drama at all! Thanks for the tips!
I must say that I like to enjoy my stuff (and love starting a talk about it when people sees it.

Also I think you should archive and store this historical BTC item better than in a frame. I am sure those clips hodling it will leave a mark.I cringe when I look at them.

Also exposing paper to light am sure does not help either. Stamps should never be left exposed to light..so neither should newspapers.

This article might help you in archiving it properly.

Nice item Smiley

However, times have changed since those went for 16 BTC.
Bitcoiners have finally realized the true value their coins, I am not only talking about value in terms of dollar...

Thanks for linking to old auctions and raising my attention about the website’s bidding unaccuracy. I don’t see that many around anyway so for sure it’s scarse and a beautiful piece to have. I didn’t say a price for my piece, nor have heard anyone’s price either. I understand 7.4 BTC was a price for one and 16 BTC for other on this forum. But when there’s no run to sell there’s just a price to ring the bell. And that’s what happens with colectibels they just get nicer and more valuable with time. 😘

Perhaps you should hang onto it to capture all that future value?

If you come to the bitcointalk collectibles board you'll find fair prices and knowledgeable people.. go to that bullshit times website or eBay and you're going to find hyperinflated prices that are unrealistic. You can hold onto this and hope billionaires that do no research and like throwing their weight around find your thread but in the meantime take the advice of some of the members here if you want to sell this.

All you have to do is a quick search, and  you can see the past sales. I wish people would ask the members that buy and sell on this forum everyday here for value,  instead of using ebay and other useless websites for price determination.

I would love to know the total amount of these out in the wild that people know about... has to be around 10-20?

Damn I wish I could be able to afford this thing, but I know this will be out of my price range since you know who is watching ^^^

Roll Eyes Wink

Less than 10 known. Most offered above 1mm.

I can find 10 of them if I went digging into past sales, there are definately more than 10.  And as far as 100btc valuation, we all wish but the actual price probably needs a 95% off coupon from that price to get some interest

I mean surely you could always start an auction at 3-5 btc and see if you can manage to snag some interest from the whales who'd be interested.  But yeah, chances of you getting 100 btc is... slim Roll Eyes

Stop it....  that's not even close to accurate!!!  One sold less than a year ago for about $55k (7.5BTC x ~$7500 at the time of sale)..... and it was in really good shape.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/auction-no-minimum-bid-the-times-03-jan-2009-10-to-freerossorg-5134423

....and please don't try to point out that scam website that just has ridiculous prices but has never sold a single one.  The link above is factual.

Sorry to rain on your parade.....

Still a great piece and good luck with the sale.  I'm sure there will be plenty of interest.

I’ve got one of the fee original full copies of the newspaper, bought several years ago. It’s framed. I would be interested in offers from real collectors. I have more pictures if needed.
