mine was cooling an AGP HD4670, that later broke (now an HD4650)

cant seem to get it to mine though, prolly cuz its AGP or something

Does it make a difference? Seems like the effect would be limited, since the air would be moving pretty good thanks to the fans on the GPUs anyway.

It actually does. When the GB9000 is on high it brings the CPU temps down by 10C and the GPUs down by about 5. Before running it, my GPUs were pushing 80 and my CPUs were pushing towards high 50's. I was locking up too regularly. Now I'm not locking and the hottest GPU is at 75C (it's in the middle of 4)
