The top ICO list is the destination for you to discover new potential ICOs in the pre-coding market. The top ICO provides a list of all ICO projects and even better the ICO classification will give you a list of the best ICOs coming soon. The Top ICO also provides detailed information on some of the best performing ICOs and information from previous ICOs to give you a basis for evaluating ICO performance.

Most of the time all review sites are not helping investor to find legitimate ICO , nowadays it is used for marketing their project to pey review sites to gain a high rating so people will see that it has many good agendas based on reviews , they will rely on that reviews and will never do their own research and in the end they loss there money

Do you have experiences with ICO listing sites?

How do you differentiate the good from the bad?

There are three main ICO listing sites on the market right now.

- Icodrops
- Icorating
- Icobench

All the rest (probably 45-65 sites) are useless.

Even if the ratings are paid it may be an indicator somehow of the hype the project is able to create, the fact that the team has some cash to invest and doesn't start from zero, they have a marketing manager who does his job, etc.

You will never know the real intentions of the Devs, in the worst case scenario an exit scam, but on the other hand if an ICO is not in these rating pages it's not a good indicator neither as it seems they don't know how an ICO is managed and promoted.

Anyway, the best would be that, paid or not, they had the freedom to make a free research. I don't know how the ratings work, I would be happy to see that projects pay to get listed but the ratings are free, but I think that you're suggesting that the more you pay the better the review, that's not ethical.

If you are investing in ICO then make sure to do your own research, You can follow the guidelines in the below post:

The ico listing sites I think just website to inform , "hey, there is a new ico project, check this by yourself".
So, if you want to know good or bad, you must do your own research on that project.
Don't trust rating on ico listing site, before doing your own research. Because the rating  can be given very simply

The good thing is we can get an idea about the project before investing any ICO and we can select a good one to invest. The bad thing is the companies pay ICO rating sites to fake reviews. I have seen top-rated ICO also scammed.

Recently majority of ICO listings became paid promo scam, so you better rely on yourself now, unfortunately.

The biggest problem with ICO review sites is that they cannot be trusted. Companies pay those sites to promote their ICOs.

ICO listing sites do not give a true reflection of the team performance because somw team members pay money in for high ratings. You should read the whitepaper and do sime background check about team members before you either invest or participate in bounties.

We can get an idea about ratings, details from ICO listing sites. It is good because we can get all the details like ICO price, team members, social media accounts from one place. But I have seen ICO listing sites top rated ICOs were scammed. It was bad. Then do your own research before you invest any ICO project.

You differentiate the good from the bad by simply doing research on the project. That's pretty much it.

Also, I would suggest against choosing from those ICO listing sites. There are high chances that most of the ICOs listed there are highly rated simply because the certain ICO team paid the owner of the site to rate it higher for better publicity.
