The bitcoin train sucks, it stops often, a rock on the track will derail the train and the conductor takes weeks to verify your ticket, often requiring you to show proof of residency, your passport, and often asks you how much money he has deposited in your bank account to make sure you own the account, even if you paid with cash.

Not to mention most of the people on the train have been on it for months, repeating "I'll get there someday".

Back at Jan 12th this guy created a thread for top-calling: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.1450869 , and guess what, out of the hundreds who have posted their guesses in January, no one had even came close to nail the top, no one, no one then even believed the price can be above $100.

I am sorry if you have missed the train and the space shuttle afterwards, during the 133 times run-up from $2 to $266, but it's a fact of the world that not everyone makes money in the market. Wink

Since October 29 2012, Bitcoin has displayed impressive bull action

Only 3 out of the last 24 weeks have seen the close lower than the open.

17-Dec-2012 = Down 1%
8-April-2012 = Down 53%
29-April-2012 = Down 13%

Let the grind continue...

I am kind of missing that M1 parity thread. Bitcoin, get your stuff together and move up already, even if just to annoy all the naysayers.
It'll be a while.

In the past couple days we went up about 1.6%.

If that continued for about a year, it'd translate to about an 18x multiplier, which in any other financial market would be fantasyland insanity.

That anyone would call such gains "slow" is sort of amazing.

I'd be happy if it maintains this current climb for a while, steady increase is a lot better than sudden spikes.

Plus this also makes BTC a viable currency as you're not risking losing out due to massive price fluctuations
