I kind of enjoyed the hunger games part 2.  It was less building up of the the storyline and more getting to the nitty gritty.  I wanted more form part 2 but they did leave it on a cliff hanger so I can get all excited for the next addition to the story.

Am I the one who was not enjoyed by the second part!  I think the first one was better and actually the final scene of the second part reminded me the final scene of one of the part in  Twilight Saga that I was forced to watch  Embarrassed

Yes we get distracted by entertainment, but see since the roman time, they used entertainment to keep people happy and off the real problems.  Its been a tatic since those times as well.

NFL Football!!
Only 5 more months to go.  Cheesy

Also soccer/baseball/hockey....Oops not enough time.

Great movie with a powerful message. I've just started reading the first book after I saw both movies.

I read the first 2 books first.
Too bad the movie doesn't have time for more of the details, but it was still good.

Spoiler Alert:
Please don't talk about the third book.   Cheesy

Both movies are great, and i think that the governments are doing the same thing in real life too.The same hunger we find it this days too,in poor countries ,people killing each other of money, for food for a better life!We have a lot to learn from that movie!

I can't get why it is here - I supposed I'd see here something like " Our government doing the same things - they are trying to make us devided into 2 groups of people"  Actually while I was watching the movie I've remembered the theory of "Golden billion".

Some plot threads are underserved but The Hunger Games is a fascinating and disturbing character drama that successfully captures the core themes of the book.

The second one is even better, but they are gonna have a problem with the cast for the third one...

Nope they already filmed al the scenes with Philip Seymour Hoffman for: The hunger games 3
So dont worrie, it like they already knew he was gonna die.
I really liked part 1, and also saw part 2, they are really good movies.
And I think there is also a message in the movies.
Because the people there are living crappy and when the hunger games come its like everyone is happy and wants to see it.
Just like the real world and sports, the real powers distracts us with their olympic games/other sports, to distracts us from the real problems this world has!
