I prefer a finished project than a whitepaper that is merely filled with promises that may never be fulfilled.

A product or services is a sign that a project is achieving and deserving of investment they may be asking for. The fact that a lot project have develop some product shows integrity and commitment and such project should be invested into!

Friends, I would like to hear your opinion. How do you choose a project to invest? I believe that it is better to invest in projects that already have a finished product (application, masternod, etc.) What do you think?
I agree it's best to invest in an project that's undervalue in terms of price and has working product. But be sure to choose a project that's very useful and has many partnership.

The best solution is to distribute your money between different projects with different potential returns and different risks. Then you are more likely to become rich or lose your money

The general white paper is just a general introduction to a project. If you really want to invest in an ICO project, you must consider it in many ways.
There's a lots of things that can influence the success of certain project, but for the startup it's quite good to invest with project with already got a finished or working product to begin with, the developing stage is much possible when seeing that the team got something to deliver, white paper is an open source to learn more about the project and how things will be done you can start reading it and see it by yourself if the team can fulfill their promises.

Strongly agree with you, I also choose projects that already have good products. Because with that the project has a good prospect. Of course the goal is also very clear. I am sure that projects that already have products will be a big success.

I agree with you, because the project that aims to develop existing products/ applications guarantees that the project isn't scam project, but we must still cautious because it could be the product/ application offered is just a claim to deceive investors

It is always better to invest in a project that already has its product than a project that is only written on a white paper.

This question is a no-brainer for we all know that the team behind the project with working products have proven themselves capable of delivering the goal of the project.   If we observe the ICO today, there are lots of great idea everywhere but the problem is the realization of the idea.  It has more potential risk to invest in an idea that has not yet been developed since there is a huge possibility that the project won't be delivered.

Of course, we should invest in projects that already have products. ICOs that have products will certainly attract a lot of investors and it will be successful. Very few ICO projects have products so these projects are considered as gold

Looking on the concept of a project through whitepaper is good, but that won't be enough to make sure that the project is really legit.
There are many other things that we should check that would be the team behind the project and most importantly the validity of the project itself. We don't wan't to get dragged into a scam project aren't we?

I have seen lot of project dying off because the product never got ready for the market. One of the factors that keep the value f a coin on the market is how well its product or idea is selling on the market. Also, look out for the community of the project. Most projects die because it lacks strong and supportive community.

Choose a product that already has obviously a good decision. by having the product at the beginning of the course to be quite convinced that what is supported already exists and lives to develop only. Nowadays even many have already showcased their products to attract serious investors who wish to support them.

I invested in projects with a finished product and I can say that despite the fact that this should give certain advantages to the project, it is not always possible to collect such projects normal amounts when conducting an ICO.
A lot of project like this, they already have the product but they failed on their ICO maybe because of lack in marketing strategies. I also want to invest on a project that is already existing because you can know the potential of that one easily compare to those who are just written in a paper.

But if you see a good project, why not to give it a try because this market is about taking risk and if you are ready for that, don't be scared to invest because the return of that one will be great if ever. Hopefully the trust on ICO will come back, and investors will come again right before the exchange listing, so we can see more good project now instead of a scam project.

Im gonna go with the finish product, if only they can finish the product before going into crowdsale, but thats not gonna be happening because most project needs some money from the investors to pursue their project that were stated in their whitepaper.
I prefer to join an ico when sales have arrived softcap because this might give a lower level of risk after seeing the facts and development of the project carefully

It is very important that you ensure your investment in ICOs that already have something to show, but remember that to make money a lot, the best thing is to look for an ICO that is launching and bet on it, because usually when the icos already have a product done, there is a line of investors wanting to put money in them, so you get a smaller amount for your investment.

Its individual preferences on how you should invest, but one should note that, due diligence is the most important for sound decision before you commit for such investment, market research, market preview, market structure, status after ICO launching, what are the Price during the launching and after the launching? market status? how the consumer's behavior towards such product or project, all things are being considered, i will still invest for the project with stable fundamentals on the market.

A product shouldn’t be all talk and no bite, or vice versa. It should be a balance of both. Study the whitepaper thoroughly, research the background of the team behind the product and of course, check out the product itself. It pays to know what you are buying.

I think that any project with a ready-to-use product before the crowdfunding is more likely to be a success, than an idea on a sheet of paper. But still, it is not a rule, more like a trend.
Yeah, I agree with you. There are so many scams now, and it will be better if we are choosing a ready-to-use product before the crowdfunding although there's no one can guarantee that the project is not a scam.

In my opinion, it is better to invest on an ICO with a working product or MVP which you can determine or you can analyze by yourself as an investor if this ICO is worth your investment or just a waste of time because some whitepapers are just written by writers online that is hired by the CEO which is a really great way to lure you in the trap.

Definitely an investor will choose a project with a ready and working product, and not a project with a beautiful idea, which is only in words.

Most people prefer projects with finished products. Most of the time the final product or service dosen't match the whitepaper. However you should invest in a project that you believe in.

Of course it is better to invest in projects that have an MVP or at least are working on one. A well written whitepaper without a proper use case and no mentioning of a working product is not really a good sign.

Both are important components of the project, since the technical documentation describes the product of the platform and its detailed analysis, and the product of the platform is designed to implement the platform itself and in my opinion both aspects are important for any project

Finished Products have more potential and the chance of earning more in the safe way is huge there. White paper is not a bad idea. But, when pitted against the finished products, it does not hold the same appeal and the sense of security as the finished products.

Between the two obviously the best decision would be the finished product as you'd see the real world uses for it rather than investing in a project that's still in the development phase and has no gurantee. When looking for important factors it isn't just about the white paper, you have to look into the team, the idea and how they plan to move forward with it, how responsive they are to the community. With all that you can hope that the project delivers.

Well, it is safe this way. Also almost everyone needs some insurance or guarantee in their business, so they could easily trust in that. But if doesn't have the risk of earning a fortune in it.

I will surely prefer the finished product over the whitepaper idea always. Because a lot of projects are good on whitepaper, the idea and concept looks good but it is the implementation that is the issue. Most of them tend to deliver something that is totally different from what is in the whitepaper.

You should choose a potential project to invest, Don't Invest into the projects you don't make sure it's good. In my opinion. You should consider about a project , like a WP, Team, Website. , you can check website here: https://www.whois.com/whois/ under 3 months is bad. Good luck guy!.

Of course it is better to only look for products that have a working product with a real world application, rather than spending your money on the promises of a complete stranger, but these projects are few and far between. The number of projects in the crypto-sphere that will actually ever be used in the real world is a single-digit number.

ICO whitepapers are a generally a mess. Most are trash, many are plagiarized, some don't even have a whitepaper. They are more useful for weeding out the many obvious scam projects than they are for finding the very rare project that is legit. This doesn't stop newbies sending their money over to these scam projects though.
