Not seen any realworld purchase via Bitcoin .. but recently someone started offering Bitcoin to real local currency.. hope to see something in bitcoin to real world products soon.
I live in Asia. Not seeing a lot of anything coin related out here. Few miners, no pools, no re/etailers that will accept them. I have to think the BTC market explodes if China ever starts believing it's a safe haven for extra cash. 40% of the world lives in Asia and right now they are not connected with this... That bodes well for the market...

I actually got a couple mates into BTC, they've gone down alt coin paths as they've discovered them, but we're often bartering between us for drinks down the pub for BTC/LTC and making trades via smart phones... we look like a bunch of nerds, but we have a good time

I think a thread like this will be really interesting that sits on a pile Bitcoins. Exchanging BTC for money is obvious but what real world purchase did you already do?
State where you are from and what you purchased for your coins. Potentially you also might want to share the link to the seller-homepage, shop whatsoever.
