i wish and hope real justice be served.i personally dont have faith in the system. money is all that matters. i know that, since this is an international forum i thought of supporting our system  Grin
i do have personal experience regarding this. the judge boldly asking for money if they want my frnds case to be settled soon..if not it would take years to appear that case in court

Was that in a lower court?
Our only hope is that High Courts / Supreme Court are relatively less corrupt.

You just have to look at ex-SC Judge Markandey Katju's revelations. If corruption is prevalent in all aspects of Indian society, can the judiciary be immune to it?

yes i accept this.yes there are elements in judiciary who are corrupted and almost all those have become public knowledge with the help of media or other sources, katju report was a revelation and was much debated. india does have corruption in every sectors. is there anything that can be done to curb corruption,it can be but i highly doubt that will happen.

do you have any suggestions

This probem has been recognized and efforts are being made to address it.
The NJAC (National Judicial Appointments Commission) was an attempt made in this direction, but it has been struck down by the Supreme Court.
The Supreme Court has invited suggestions on how to improve the Collegium System of appointments.
