iracing.com is strictly other racers from around the world. You can do time trials and testing anytime by yourself but series races are set by your iRating. If there is 75 drivers signed up for a race and only a max race field of 20 cars. The race will have 4 seperate races with the field set by iRating.
If you are in the top 1/4 iRating compared to the other 74 drivers, you would be in the "Top Split" If you are not very good and your iRating is very low, more than likely you would be in the lowest split of the 4 races.
As for money, there are plenty of private hosted races and series that pay out small amounts. But the actual iRacing world championships i posted in OP have around $10,000 for the winner. They also have cool things like if you are top racer in a certain vehichle, you could win a real life race expeirence. (Mazda mx 5 cup)
That's awesome. Is it fun to play ? I'm going to download it tonight while I sleep. Like do the cars handle realistically ? Is it skill based or crap like like need for speed ? Can you adjust cars settings ? I think you should put the file download size here too to be help others.
Can you buy iRacing with bitcoin? I would like to try it. I still have to try Assetto Corsa tho, I don't really like the subscription model.. i hate paying monthly for games.
Yes, g27 isnt the best by far. Moreless the best bang for its buck to get started. I have dead spot as i turn left from center as Im a short circle track racer so im always turning left. It still works but its in rough shape. The top of the line main brand for a wheel would be thrustmaster but i havent looked at their newest as too rich for me.
iRacing does not accept bitcoin. I should message them and see if they would be interested. If i have money at the time and someone needs iRacing, i could maybe convert as Id save on the coinbase fees as I like to buy bitcoin once or twice a month.
I should think about investing I'm a g27 what are they going for ? Or rather what is a good price to pay for one ?
