It is very annoying to wait for 360seconds between posts Wink It probably avoids a lot of spam

I also have the same problem but I thought Its gone when you get Jr. Member status? If I'm wrong please explain me.

Look through the link I posted earlier in this thread, it explains everything.

Sorry, but am I that Newbie really? I checked your thread and didn't found anything related with waiting periods of 6 minutes per post. If there is really information about that can you exactly show where It Is because In your thread I read everything and really there is nothing mentioned about It.

Wait Times right down at the bottom on the second post:

waittime = 360;
if(activity >= 15)
        waittime = (int)(90 - activity);
if(activity >= 60)
        waittime=(int)(34.7586 - (0.0793103 * activity));
if(activity >= 100)
        waittime = max((int)(14-(activity/50)), 4);

Oh thanks a lot, how inattentive I am, I saw It at the bottom but didn't actually thought that It's there. I also found It myself in other place here:https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=253190.msg2702160#msg2702160

The time limitations go down with each membergroup. It shouldn't be 360 now for Jnr, but they still have a limit.

Have the same problem.

Try leaving the website (logged in of course) open and return later and try to post then. Else, logout and delete the browser's cookies. Log in again and try posting then.

this is tiresome lol

i have an hour in the problem

You should have read the newbie readme and could have saved an hour...

Is there a way to force everyone to read the newbie readme when they first register their account?

It wouldn't help much anyways...

When the newbie section was the only section people could post in at first we had a similar issue.  While registering it told you that you were restricted from posting in most parts of the forum, but tons of people still asked.  Most people are just going to blow through any forced reading and not actually do it.

Wait 360 seconds before you try post again then it'll be fine. Log-ins and attempted posts also count and reset the clock.
