Usually, coin is pumping after listing on the exchange. Then it follows dumping usually too. Then it follows repeating, then repeating and then repeating circles of course, and so on.
Giveaway is marketing tool for pumping coins, usually again.
Just look what happened with bitcoins. Everybody is trying to do the same repeating circle.
