Attention: In February, the Mastercoin Foundation will be awarding$100,000 in BTC, plus an additional payout in Dev MSC (

to individuals or groups that contribute the to Master Protocol ecosystem.
That means over the next 15 days, start breaking your projects/ideas into ongoing chunks. We will be judging your work as it is delivered and awarding these BTC on a rolling basis with the first bounty payout to be allocated on March 1 (please allow some time for processing).
The payout will be divided as follows:1.
$50,000 to the current primary objective (right now this is the Distributed Exchange)
2.
$35,000 to the next primary objective (right now this is Smart Property)
3.
$15,000 is allocated for "General Innovation" - you are eligible to participate if you do "nice things that help the Master Protocol". This can include general coding, testing, documentation, marketing, and whatever the community finds as helpful.
What we need right now is your help - please help us find a fair way to determine the bounty amounts.
Some requirements that we have determined are below:
The bounty grading system will eventually look something like this:

The bounty grading system will need to be something that:
1. Doesn't take too much time and effort from everyone - people should be able to review the work and grade it in less than 15 minutes.
2. Let the core team members influence the results.
3. Let the community influence the results.
4. Protects privacy of voters, but still allows people to understand why they got the bounty they did. We can use categories such as "quality", "importance", "breadth" and have everyone give a rating for these, and show the average rating without leaving individual rating.
Of course, anyone who takes ownership and helps drive consensus and decide which bounty system we need, is eligible to submit this very effort to the first contest as part of the general innovation fund. This needs to be thought out, communicated, agreed on and executed.
Here are just a few ideas that we have regarding projects surrounding this innovation budget:1. $50,000 to the current primary objective - Distributed Exchange
We are seeking a few experienced Go developers to plugin with our current Distributed Exchange Go implementation that is currently being built.

We are also looking for QA/QC to be conducted on a rolling basis on all code written to date for the Distributed Exchange.

Find security holes in our code and/or code fixes.
2. $35,000 to the next primary objective -Smart Property
Next up on our schedule after the DEx launches in March, is the development of Smart Property. Develop a smart property DAP atop the Master Protocol and secure part of these funds!

Create an informational animation showing a feature of the Master Protocol.
Create a funny animation/cartoon/image that features the Master Protocol.
Put up a Master Protocol blog highlighting the positive features and press surrounding the Master Protocol.
Search Engine Optimization for keywords surrounding the Master Protocol.
Write an article on a great feature of the Master Protocol and submit it to a Bitcoin forum.
Go out and build a "Database of FUD" about the Master Protocol in the various other communities, and successfully engage people spreading FUD about us. No aggressive behavior, but rather careful communication and analysis.
