I invested in TIM 1 month ago. They did a stupid masternode collateral increase voting and did not even listen it. The increase was huge, 1K to 10K. I predicted the price drop and sold everything before update. TIM is now dead for me and in my avoid list.

The most surprising coin for me is Absolute (ABS). I invested 1 month ago. MN value was about 30 USD. Now it is 100+. I think they do a great job.

I have Galactrum (ORE) for long term, going stable. Mirai (MRI) for medium term, they have some interesting ideas. Pandemia (PNDM) for short/medium term, gaming with masternodes sounds kinda fun. Bitcoin Adult (BTAD) for short term, running out of patience with it since they are late with lots of things.

For current market status, I invest very conservatively, taking small risks. I invest in below 100 USD masternode value coins.

How did you install it?

I followed the setup guide on their site, but got some serious errors when I started ./autogen.sh

What am I doing wrong?
(I try to run it on Lubuntu 18.04.1 X64 on my own server)

i like people who consider other sorts of investments instead of just buying some coins and leave them . last year i was very interested to make my first masternodes but the great ones like DASH (my dream) is ridiculously expensive !! . can i ask how much do this masternodes cost you and what's their average ROI . i already have one masternode (Payfair) nice project you should have a look at it .
Also, what's your criteria when choosing the masternode ?!

I think, in the case specifically of masternode lowcaps, developer engagement and activity is absolutely paramount. Looking forward to the indepth write-ups on each coin

Indeed. Delayed because of personal issues.

Will be done by the end of this week.

Also, I invested in TIM on 21st Sept.

In case anyone is interested in joining the project you can find me on their discord server's MN channel : Time is Money (TIM)
and this autoinstall script may be useful:
Auto install script for TIM : https://legendster.github.io/timenode/

TIM TIP Address : TfQRT6o71jhETKw3cdQWLjkqQMrBKTK6ga

Good luck all to everyone.

PS: This is my first script on Github so excuse the mistakes if any.

Have a good news because as I know this is a mining platform and its price only$100 because now this company give offer if you want to buy at the moment its price only $100 after end of offer it will be $150. If you want to start mining so you can use masternode platform. It is one time purchase and you can use it ten year so you can buy and start mining.
What, on earth, are you talking about.
Are you on drugs?

Care to explain the list you've chosen as your first batch of nodes? There are hundreds of coins that endorse masternodes, what makes these three (in your opinion) the best of the best?

They are by far not the best of the best but rather have some future based on their products and roadmap and are currently profitable to invest in.

Also, the interactivity of the developers and core team play a huge role in me deciding whether to participate in that community.

As for why I have chosen them over other projects or why I haven't, I'll be explaining that in a featured post on this thread for each coin and also be cross-posting that on my Medium, so stay tuned..  Lips sealed Grin

should every zerocoin chain be reconsidered after recent hacks and protocol abandonment? pivx has new team, saw the article a few days ago regarding original pivx dev's new project - and it makes sense now if putting all pieces from the last year together. trying to find that article now

New project? interesting, let us know.

Zerocoin hack is fixed already, there is zerocoin 2.0

Hey Legendster,

Thanks for putting us on the "watching" list. That's the best we can ask for at the moment, we're simply not ready to go public.

I don't like describing ourselves as diamond in the rough as diamonds have little utility and fake value. I say we're like an ore, once we separate and refine each aspect of our project, you will see the true value.

Thanks again and all the best.

After the discussion we've had on Discord, I want to wait and watch how this pans out with you guys. You have your work cut out for you and only time will tell how much of that refocus / rebranding you hope for will be achieved.

Back to topic.

Wagerr def on my list, they're in a good position.

If they prove to steady, I'll be making an investment with them pretty soon. (I hope)

Dash is a bit risky in my opinion, they've come close to break even (about half a million USD in monthly expenses last I read), in a bear market if they do not lean up they could risk capsizing. They've been moving down the top crypto list. Dash masternode collateral was at 1.2 Million at it's highest, which now sounds insane.

Dash is like the ultimate goal for me, everything else is / will be a stepping stone to get there. In the semi-long term I see Dash being a real steady asset even if it is with a less than stellar ROI compared to other Grade-A masternode projects.

One strategy I'm toying with is to break down my portfolio for long term.
For example, I aim to have a DASH masternode by 2022. I break it down into monthly tranches to purchase and have it set aside, or you can take the other route and mine it.

Mining is not easy given the current conditions, it might be cheaper to buy the dip instead. But if you play your cards right with cheap but solid high ROI nodes, then you can definitely get there. You just have to spend time in front of your monitoring device to make sure you don't go down with a few abandoned projects or two.

Here are my Masternodes:

PIVX
Zcoin
Bulwark
Wagerr

How long have you been invested in Pivx and Wagerr? Compared to all the nodes you're hosting are the Oracle nodes (Wagerr) giving you more rewards? With their betting fees being redistributed to node owners they should be more in the green zone than the rest. Or did I get that wrong?

I'd say 6 months.

Oracles (Trusted Nodes) are not yet approved, it might take a few weeks but they are alive under core team atm to make sure it's all smooth.

Wagerr betting actually opened only 3 days ago and already passed 500K WGR bets in total.

You can see bets stats in here actually:

https://explorer.wagerr.com/#/betevents

I've already set bets and won 5 out of 8, it's really fun Smiley

There are tons of new stuff upcoming with Wagerr, like HTML5 betting page, Android app betting already working..

Interesting selection but if i might make a suggestion you should take a look at wagerr. Sadly this should have been in place before it went to the mainnet last week, but the price is still cheap compared to where it is heading. It is the first decentralised anonymous betting platform on the blockchain https://www.wagerr.com/oracles

Thank you. I'll be monitoring that project as well. The prices seemed to have soared in the last 30 days so it might not be the best time to dive in but the project does seem interesting with it's house edge of getting a share of the betting fees.
