i hate it how (and i speak from experience) that if you call a black person a N word then they get all defensive and its racist but if you call a white person a cracker then its cool and it's just a nickname.
Cracker is offensive and most people would get pretty pissed off if a non-white said it to you, but I don't think you can compare the words. Does the word Cracker have over 200 years of enslavement and murder behind it?
I never understood why black people call each other niggers and get angry if a white guy says it.
How can you not understand it? And probably the majority of black people tend not to be ok with anybody saying it.
I simply can't. If they feel so offended why do they keep using it themselves?

Most white people just talk back.Those friends of your would be called sell-outs by the very same people who use the N word. Personally I would rather be a sell-out and not have my ethnicity thought of as some sort of caveman because I can't find more appropriate diction.
Seriously though this is why you should never flip out because of a word, it shows you have no self-control, by all means, beat the crap out of a guy who's picking a fight with someone over their colour but don't flip out if they just say it, that's just dumb.
