If you are the observant type those user you outlined that are being name mimicked are users that are reputable and should not pose as much of a difficulty to spot the original one because those guys are quite frequent in the forum.

1. Yes. Someone not well versed with the system or in a rush can fall prey to it.

4. No names are the same. Usernames aren't casse sensitive. You missed a t out of the ttman account. tman would be unacceptable to register. Try registering JACKG and you'll find you'll get an error.

That is the reason when you got the mail from newbie, you get big  warning in red to confirm the identity. In few cases  it might be luck by chance that user took the already established username.
That the reason where staked address and signed message play a crucial part because imposter cannot be able to sign from your wallet.

And I'm not mistaken theymos have another alt account - I can't remember it's name, I think it's used just for testing purposes.
And as I know there is some restricted names to register - it was done to prevent risk of staff impersonating.

I don't think if someone is having an account name which is very resembles you is against the forum rule but if you found any then neutral tag about that will solve everything.

theymos_away is an alt account from theymos. SatoshiDice is a the companies Pr. Recently an user using a nick #bitcoinCore was tag. He was not trying to cheat anyone, so he was allowed to change his nick.

But sometimes others users try to impersonate theymos or other staff members. Especially with copper membership and the auction. So people need to always have extra careful when receiving a private message

It is undeniable, interaction with the internet world such as the Bitcointalk forum,both directly and through technology, often seen by members during the past few years, many accounts are banned so easily prepare new accounts, clearly violating existing Forum procedures. and I see many accounts that resemble the staff, monderator, account name in this bitcointalk forum.

In my mind that:
In cyberspace, the internet, technology, evil certainly exists, such as: revenge, fraud, forgery, envy, competition, dropping each other, this is a big problem? if you use an account name similar to the original and also spread the original account name.

2. If the account is fraudulent if it is thought by another member is mod, staff, or violates the forum rules can it have a big effect?
