Any hope I can get back money?

The site looked very legit, and I fell for it.
Bitcoin transactions are not reversible.  Unfortunately you could only get back your money if:

-They sent it back because they're lovely people (unlikely);
-They got caught by authorities and were forced to give it back (unusual/unlikely/criminals tend to keep their coins safe);
-You're secretly a miner with over 50% of the hashrate and you could reverse your own transactions.   Wink

Sorry but you're most likely not getting your coins back.

Next time do yourself a favour and use a safe wallet like Electrum.
Yes electrum is the best bitcoin wallet you can get on the market these days. Torwallet already have multiple scam accusations from different users and the owner of site is suspected of being involved with some shady projects before too.

Why would you use them as a wallet? Can't you search properly before sending money to a random website and giving your money to strangers?

Look what I found after a quick search on google:

Next time do yourself a favour and use a safe wallet like Electrum.

I learned that the hard way.

Hi, if anyone is having the same issue, post here. I just got logged out of TorWallet.com and the message I receive now every time I try to log back in:

"Your account is inactive because you have not yet confirmed your email address. Please log into your email and click on the confirmation link we sent you. If you cannot find the confirmation email, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the confirmation email, send us a support request at [email protected]"

I have since sent numerous e-mails to [email protected] only to get them bounced back with a 4.4.1 server error. Was wondering if there is anything I can do or get in touch with the owner to get this fixed.

Thank you!
