After 4 years of posting this thread Ethereum which didn't even developed 4 years ago now on 2nd place that shows how fast and vast this market is it will continuously improve unless there is downfall. Ethereum may succeed as potential no 1 currency.

I don't think any coin will challenge bitcoin but I think guldencoin will challenge litecoin in the future in marketcap.
My heart says NEM, but that might be me just being optimistic.
I like Counterparty very much, but it is stuck to the slow BTC. If they change platform and issue on NXT or Bitshares, or make their own PoS chain they will be a contender.
