HUGE NEWS - Banks in the US will start offering Bitcoin - Price does not move
Not even worth to mention - Pipeline Hack somewhere in the US - Price drops 10%

It feels like the market is out of ammo and price feels very unstable. Like they try to keep the patient alive while it had brain death already.

Next massive price manipulation will be around July 9th when Klaus Schwab and his WEF will simulate a global cyber attack, followed by a real one. Just they did with event 201 followed by covid. They preparing the masses already, talking constantly about internet blackouts etc. This pipeline hack was nothing but a preview of what they will do. When the internet is down, everything will collapse. Their plans are to push an digital ID for everybody. Without that, you will have no access to the internet. Its just to protect you from terrorism.

Correction is normal in a healthy market, not all the time it will surge up there will be still some who take a profit causing a drop. Regarding manipulation, it is really hard to tell if the market is getting manipulated perhaps I will only say that the market was manipulated if something big changes happen on it like a sudden pump or dump.
We cannot blame manipulation because it is the core reason why we are having high value bitcoins right now. Manipulation on first sight might be looking like a wrong one but when more people are accepting it then those manipulation is becoming the actual value for one asset. This is what exactly happening with the bitcoin markets like whales are manipulating bitcoin markets in to new heights and then all investors are supporting it and start buying and selling at those high levels.

So, corrections and manipulation are part of every market hence we must need them so that we can profit in long run by having huge values Cheesy.

It seems that this is the classic case of:

  • price increase: "adoption! to the moon!"
  • price drop: "mAniPuLaTiOn!"

Price corrections happen. I'd be more concerned if bitcoin just went up in a straight line without dips.

Most newbie just wants moon when they buy bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. If the price goes lower than they bought, they easily panic spreading some false news on the internet. I don't know if they know the risk of it if it only keeps going up, they just think of their profit if the target price they want is achieved. Cryptos are really volatile so it is really hard to say if it is manipulated. Why would someone sell their holdings if they know many are waiting for it to go down and take that opportunity to buy.

Well, can't deny it everyone's love when his coin is surging up because they will have tons of profit and that is why we are here right to make a profit. However, the problem is when the coins don't meet their expectation like having a slight correction they get paranoid thinking that it is the end causing a panic over the internet.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
You should ask questions like to people who manipulated the price. If you are just a little investor you don't need to know about this, just buy and hold your Bitcoin, Everything is manipulated, right?? Money, gold, silver, diamond, but in the end, the price will return to the nature price, so hold your Bitcoin, and sell it if you think worth it
Yes, buy and hold it for a while and do not worry about the manipulation, news or other people who speculate about bitcoin price.
We need to calm down and just wait or we can use the time to make money if we are sure that we can use the moment to trade.
Bitcoin will go up and down and that is what happens to bitcoin, so you do not have to worry about it.
But at this moment, the bitcoin price seems to want to make a correction and hopefully, that is not going down too deep but we can prepare for the worst situations if that happens later.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
That is a question no one really has an answer to, as if we did knew when that will happen then the attempt to manipulate the markets will fail.

Now you must understand that what we see here is not as bad as you may think, this happens in all the markets with the difference that those markets have more strict regulations that allow those markets to better absorb those manipulation attempts, and when we take into account their huge volume this means that the movements we see there are not as extreme as what we see here.

I don't believe in predictions, I only believe in myself and Elon
Lol, how much do you believe in Elon?  He's not divine, should you idolize him?  But also should not be too biased to then "stick you beat his back" Smiley).  I believe in myself and my knowledge, and my thinking experiences are always extremely valuable.  There is nothing absolute in this world. Seduction and temptation are very dangerous.
should we look at the market? when they assume too much, they are afraid of being hit by a tree.

you better have to learn the movement of bitcoin, how to understand the ups and downs of bitcoin prices. when bitcoin goes down we are ready to buy and when it starts to pump we are among them.
The biggest mistake when you can't read current market conditions, don't lose business people because they ignore the concept of marketing too much.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?

Price correction shouldn't be counted as market manipulation. Bitcoin has been on an upwards trajectory for like the whole of 2021 and just some hours where the price goes down to provide us with some good opportunities to buy and fill our bank. Some crypto newbies usually panic and sell their cryptos at every dip but that is not how it's supposed to be. Dips are helpful to maintain a healthy bull run.

Probably this May is the reality of what has been expected, and  I don't think manipulation exist here. But the most important thing to see here is the actual market trend that goes along the way. We should embrace every moment that's going to exist by the time price would spike so fast, then fall might go down quickly once there's a minor changes.

Price increase and decrease are all market mechanics. You cannot have constant price increase without some momentary price drops/dip so from time to time.

Everyone has their own version of the ideal market, the bitcoin market was on a bullish trend for more than a month and the price has reached to new levels which was impossible to imagine a few years ago and do you think that was manipulation or the correction you saw last week after all these pump was a manipulation  Tongue. Today as i speak i though the market would go down because there was a huge liquidation in the speculative market but the price started to rally once again.

You got it on point dude.  Cheesy

People starts to freak out and saying up things when the price is crashing or do make out those typical corrections or consolidations which is really very common
but people shouldn't really be worried about but instead it is much better to mind off on what are the things you should gonna do.

Manipulation could happen but we don't know on whats actually happening behind the curtains. So take it as it should be and better be mindful

So when Bitcoin face a dip it would be called a manipulation?
I didn't even know about it because for me it is normal for anything that have a value to drop low sometimes?
For me I think it just happens that some whale(Tesla) sold some of their holding and other joins it so the price crash down for a short period of time.
I think whales couldn't do it on their own so those who also panic and sold their Bitcoin are also part of the price drop.
So for me what happened wasn't manipulation but a price drop and if you're asking for the next price drop I guess no one knows when would it happen.

OK i checked price chart of Bitcoin in last 7 days. Price went from $50800 to $56900. What was the problem with this on your opinion. It is just supply and demand. Can you tell when and how was price of Bitcoin manipulated last week.

There is trouble abrewing
you can't predict the next bitcoin manipulation ever unless you are the among the manipulators with massively deep pocket but even then you wouldn't be able to predict it because bitcoin market is not a sure thing, ask the whales who lost all their money in 2017 trying to dump bitcoin.
correct, and to be honest even the fluctuation in the market, its so very unpredictable also, how much more about the manipulation of big investors?
Well in my opinion there's no way you can guess when or where in the price bitcoin will plunges because indeed it always happened without any sign in the market wherein that can tell that there will be a huge dump soon or later.. Perhaps your lucky enough if you know how to figure it out.

actually when it comes to fluctuations and corrections it is not that hard to predict them. there is always a reason for a certain price action in bitcoin market even if it is hard to predict. for example last month we had the correction that was supposed to happen when price reached $60k and it could be predicted. but this month when it dropped for the second time since it was manipulation we couldn't predict it.

Most people only know about market corrections and manipulations without knowing what really happened, even if there is correction or manipulation, don't panic or be confused, all you need is HODL and wait for the market to rise again.
I don't understand or don't know exactly what manipulation is because everything that happens in the market is normal and that's how it works, it all depends on us how to handle and behave when the market dumps and so on.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
Why do many bitcoiners believe on market price manipulations so much?, it's time we understand the force that move the price of these assets in the market. The only force that actually move the price in the market is that of adoption and not just manipulation, though, i stand to be corrected on this. Adoption in the crypto-space will definitely give more room for the market price to flow positively, so, let stop this issue of bitcoin market manipulation every-time the market price is down.

In fact, it is very natural that many bitcoiners believe that there is price manipulation at every Bitcoin dump price, especially if the price drop
occurs suddenly for no apparent reason. Indeed, this is usually caused by whales trying to manipulate prices, so that panic occurs and whales
can buy Bitcoin at a low price. My advice if Bitcoin dump is better not to sell the Bitcoin that we have. It is better to HODL until the price of
Bitcoin goes up again, because usually Bitcoin recovering doesn't take long.

I will say that is correction because I do not know if that is manipulation from some people or groups or a correction for the price before the price increases again.
If you ask about the next manipulation, I do not think that anyone can know the right answer because many possibilities can happen to bitcoin.
Rather than thinking about "when," it is better to enjoy this moment, and you can try to make a profit from many coins, including bitcoin, so you do not have to worry about manipulation or not.
If you still search about that, I am afraid that you will miss the chance to make a profit this year because I see this year can be a good year for you to profit back.

now a days whales are slowly losing their power against high volumes of most exchanges.
That must be a good point. If you ask me, I must say that manipulations are these days not happening frequently, probably due to your reason.
It seems sometimes that bitcoin market is trading strongly without any manipulation but at times some high volatility makes again to think like "whales are back into action". I will not agree that manipulations are still  happening may be not in more numbers but there are whales and they may move markets according to their preferences.

If you people may fail to observe manipulation when more whales pump bitcoin market up but when they do pump and dump alternatively then you will start noticing. People do agree with manipulation when it happens on rising side.

Always throwing pessimistic stones to Bitcoin whenever the price plunges. Now it's called manipulation.
Last time I checked it was called a correction or just a fluctuation.
But when it goes up? Wow! Demands are soaring because Bitcoin is getting popular.

Why not use the optimistic style? Bitcoin is just moving which base on history is a normal thing to happen. That means its still healthy. I'll take that.
Let's just be happy it's still moving which give chance to others for an entry point.

Some analysts believe that if there is a weekly candle close above  54,000$ for Bitcoin, there will be new historical highs, usually in April, there will be a negative close for Bitcoin, but it will rise again in May, so we have to wait for the closing of the monthly candle of Bitcoin until we see what is the next step for Bitcoin.
Also, back to the news, we note that Nexon bought Bitcoin at 58,000 $, and this is an indication that the price of Bitcoin will rise above this price in the coming period.

Yeap. Though it's really unfortunate how in freakin 2021 people still get affected by FUD, I really don't mind it that much. More flash crashes means more opportunities to grab some cheap bitcorns I guess. 🤷‍♂️
FUD?  what do you mean is this trash🗑️ Cheesy

"Weak hand" is not suitable for having Bitcoin aka Bitcorns, when the Bitcorn price corrected a little they immediately panicked and sell it.  and when they sell theirs bitcoin some "strong hand" buys it.
Honestly this happens all the time. I feel a lot of people are frustrated because they lost the moment to get a big profit, but am I wrong? haha. they always say manipulation that they almost don't even understand how bitcoin works

Do market manipulation exist? If your answer is yes, then who is the person manipulating the market. Am not in any way against his/her quest for trading ideas from the forum here but he/she just need to be careful of what he is looking for since no one here has a definite knowledge about the next direction of the market.

I don't believe that there might be someone who was in control or manipulation on the market especially bitcoin. The dips are only a price correction and this might because of the demand or suppky of the token and as we can see the strong resistance of bitcoins price today.

Many who must have lost in the process always say the market was manipulated against there position, if not so why are you looking for when it will happen again. Just take your time to learn how to trade and make profit, than be looking for who will tell you when the market will go higher in your favor.

First and foremost we have already knew that the crypto market was volatile and unpredictable, lossing in trading was inevitable and we shouldn't have to think that those losses we have been are becauss there might be someone who manipulated it. Learning trading takes time, and also cost you time and effort before you can learned i wholely.

But I'm not seeing anything harmful when they are looking for this community to identify when manipulation may occur so that they could buy at dips. Because, even traders who are strong in technical analysis always coming here to gather opinion from this community so that they will go into their trading with more confident.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
If you are referring another correction as manipulation then I guess we may have that anytime as bitcoin market is facing strong resistances around $55k to $57k levels which may persist for few more days and in between time, we can see bitcoin prices may slide down up to $51k levels. But, these are all usual correction period of bitcoins and I am not ready to term these as manipulations.

At the same time, I have seen many times whales were trying to catch cheaper prices by inducing panic among traders but now a days whales are slowly losing their power against high volumes of most exchanges.

So, a massive selling is called manipulation,
How about the massive buying/accumulation?

I guess OP isn't aware of how volatile Bitcoin was. That it literally jumps more than a thousand bucks in just 1 hour.
And so the manipulation is so quick right at that moment? Lol
There are attempts on market manipulations all the time, not only during the dips.

Heh, when a price correction turns into manipulation and in turn influences other traders. Man I don't really give a damn if it was manipulation or a correction even, a dip is a dip, and heck I'd always see that as an opportunity to buy more coins to hodl. Next manipulation? Hmmm, probably when it dips again maybe? I mean every dip seems to be a manipulation so I guess that should work.
Why do you think that it is a market manipulation though? Do you have evidence that it is a market manipulation? Because I don't see how there is a manipulation because there isn't a lot of people panicking about the prices.
Cause it went down, does that count? Grin

Even if the price of bitcoin were manipulable in some way, it is too large for large price manipulations over prolonged spaces of time. It's a bit like the stock market. A hedge fund can pull down the price of a small-cap company, but the leeway it has with large-cap companies is very little.

Anyway, OP, if you are so concerned about the alleged manipulation, don't buy Bitcoin, or sell what you have. If you have.

That's true but when the "correction" happens after a large scale FUD campaign (in this case: hashrate drop, China controls bitcoin, bitcoin is dead campaign) then it is not such of a correction but a manipulation panic sell.
There is also difference between the time it took for the drop. A correction is always slower and for example a 10% drop takes much longer than half an hour. A panic sell due to FUD on the other hand is always super fast like this case.
Also we already had a correction after going above $60k between March 13 to March 25. Having another one in April doesn't make much sense.

Its not only crypto where people call it "manipulation". Back in the old days I used to frequent the Yahoo discussion for certain stocks like AAPL, GOOG, etc. And its no different there.

When the stock was going up, everybody was happy. When the stock had a down day or week. Everybody called it "Blatant Manipulation" and kept blaming wall street suits for their losses. I guess in crypto its no different.

The markets are really starting to trade sideways lately, ETH is rallying but BTC is stalling. So you need to becareful trading in these markets.

I do not like the word manipulation even though this saying is very common for the price of Bitcoin, then if not manipulation how do we explain the price suddenly without the interference of bitcoin holders and directly has a great value?

Bitcoin's price moves huge percentages when a lot of bitcoin gets bought, or when a lot of bitcoin gets sold; whereas both scenarios can be accomplished just with a good amount of people getting affected by bullish news or FUD. It doesn't necessarily always have to do with "whales".

So what?

I'm glad that I was able to buy more BTC and keep selling it again when it went up, which is a rule that isn't just bitcoin, but almost every financial market is.

Just keep this in mind, nothing will increase forever and nothing will decrease forever.

everything in trading can be sure there will be times for ups and downs, so I agree with you that nothing will increase continuously and also fall continuously, there is always dynamics.
we buy when the price drops and sell when we are sure that we have met what we want and that we have increased sufficiently. and it is a certain and natural thing for all to do.

Happy you are if you have bought a lot of bitcoins when the price was down and now with a high value is worth selling. then the benefits you get are very happy.

Is it really manipulation? or some kind of bad news that really affected the market like the tax proposal of Biden that really put the market down in the last couple of weeks?

No idea whatsoever, heck we don't know if there is manipulation as this current bull run. So it's better to wait and see how it goes, there could be positive manipulation as well, price going to the moon in this bull run.

So what?

I'm glad that I was able to buy more BTC and keep selling it again when it went up, which is a rule that isn't just bitcoin, but almost every financial market is.

Just keep this in mind, nothing will increase forever and nothing will decrease forever.

Ah yes, the weekly bitcoin price manipulation. A classic indeed. Though I hate to break it to you but what happened on the crashes are compounded market movements from a lot of players and not just a select few. Sure there are a lot of people that can easily move markets on the direction they want at their own will, but that doesn't mean that any drastic movements are a result of price manipulation. It's just that some people want to sell in order to liquidate their assets to be used to something else, and that's just it for most of the time.

Manipulations are vitamins of markets especially online markets. Such vitamins are necessary for finite market like Bitcoin market.

  • Falls: Bitcoin dies
  • Rises: Bitcoin is manipulated. Its value is not real and won't be stable.

any chance to back these claims up? it seems that a lot of people really got bothered and started assuming things after the bitcoin price drop last week(not that I am surprised but it seems that they are more active this time)

It seems that this is the classic case of:

  • price increase: "adoption! to the moon!"
  • price drop: "mAniPuLaTiOn!"

Price corrections happen. I'd be more concerned if bitcoin just went up in a straight line without dips.

Bitcoin had undergone a massive price manipulation last week. When will be the next Bitcoin price manipulation? Do you have any ideas?
