With me, BNB will definitely be the next monster in the future. In the next 1-2 years I believe that BNB will become one of the top 5 altcoins in this market and its price could go up to $ 50 or above.
It is not going to be easy, and 90% of the time whenever a coin goes super high the owners are early investors or people who already had it before the price went up, only 10% of them are newer investors who realized it could go up soon. I think best course of action for stuff like these are to get your money into a level where you can invest a lot into many stuff, diversification helps out a lot in crypto world because even though all of prices usually go up and down together, there are times some coins just go up a lot all by itself while others stay the same.
Hence I think you can't find one good super saiyan coin but you could invest into 100 coins 1000 dollars each and you could wait for them to go up individually, at least you would know that if all of them goes up together with them market you would make a profit too.

Holding altcoins and expecting big rally is a matter of luck, this things don't just happen every time, my advice is to have more than one altcoin in your wallet, go full diversification on really good altcoins and pray for luck because it's all about luck, there is no way to know which or what coin will pump in future
We have almost 3000+ cryptos with values in the market but we only call very few as good cryptos to hold so as your prediction all those 3000+ will become a coin like bitcoin as some day? The project you are talking about is not even noticed by anyone even in bitcoin so is this have any particular reason to become big?

This is a little bit true. But the thing that project still an altcoin. I know this project is listed on many exchanges and one of criteria of a good coin however everyone knows that some of the coin can be delisted once their ability to provide liquidity is gone. Many projects have been like this also. Example is pundiX, before it is one of the highest volume but now? Not so sure about that. It has the same position like NULS unless they can retain their market and continue improve their platform.

I also this news, but their recent announcent is not enough to call it a dark horse. But they are the best market coin for now and that is for sure. Maybe they can be more competent in the future. For altcoin, I am not sure that the rise of the fluetime is not to mention the market price which changes all the time. for me ETH and BTC are still the main factors compared to other altcoins.
BTC and ETH are main factors in crypto, but by monsters, I think OP means some new altcoin that can eat many others and get in top 10. I think we will see some monster altcoins doing this but which ones nobody can predict, it's why we diversify and invest in low valued altcoins that has good chances to do something like this. BNB is not the monster, its already established coin and it will grow over time!

Do not rely too much on a altcoin, anything can happen to them, that's why we are warned several times never to out all our eggs in a single basket, you need more than NULS to have good end results in crypto space, holding more than five altcoins won't hurt, it will only increase your chances of success, still you need to choose them wisely

But for XRP? Its not its initial period already, it started long before ETH but look how it look worse than before.
Among the coins op has listed, I see XRP to be the untrusted to grow fast unlike etheruem and binance. It has not been performing very well with so much news of manipulation and being centralized is giving concern for investors but really, the price is still good at the moment.
Have heard about Nuls since 2017 but didn't invest to it. 61M trading volume just today seem very high, it must be a good project.
During its initial period ETH was also treated as shitcoin and scam by users, I was one of those who dumped it. But for XRP? Its not its initial period already, it started long before ETH but look how it look worse than before.

Good things takes time, having enough patience is the only way to make it in crypto space, stop expecting coins to become ten folds in just two years
NULS is crazy. Crypto is like this, anything can happen if their project and community are solid in building a digital currency chain that is useful and in demand not only investors but many people play a role in it.
I'm also waiting for the next crazy monster and the project is indeed unique and good. I think yesterday the CAP on Uniswap exploded 500x to the highest ATH. but I don't know yet the cause of this token exploded whether the project is truly unique or only FOMO is just a uniswap token.

After your post i can easily say that uptill now cardano (ada) seems to be the next big altcoin and all year is full of ada events and news so i am really bullish about it and i am positive that it will break its previous all time high price by december this year and next year it will be on its way to new highs. There are other good alts as well eth and trx are also nicely positioned but for now ada is my highest potential alt. If people really knew what altcoin would be the next monster, we would see tons of people investing into it and they would actually cause the price of that altcoin to go up and actually do become that next monster because of it. However people do not know, they all have predictions and guesses and assumptions but in the end it is something none of us really know.
Ethereum has a good trajectory with all the increases and all the new staking thing and eth 2.0 etc etc, that should be something but I do not really think that people even trust that right now, they are still staying solid away from ethereum too if you look at the price. So, it is not really something that we can be sure about and that is why I think we will never know which one will be the next monster until it happens and we are too late.

If XRP can deliver all that is being said in their social media post and other write-ups I guess it can be a candidate no one knows how things will go since crypto is pretty hard to predict, or maybe some unknown altcoin will just pop up from nowhere and surprise everyone.
It's amazing, Aergo can raise $ 30 million only with personal sales, is this serious? indeed, the average large company in Korea has many very good partners, but I don't know if it turns out that Aergo who partnered with Blocko was able to raise that much funds without having to make an ICO.

I posted about Nuls when it was ranked around 150 CMC back in April, it now sits at 96. This project will eclipse NEO's 10Bil market cap in the 2017 bull run.
I researched about this Nuls project, from what I saw the price reached 7.5 $ (People who buy this altcoin for 7.5 $ must be very sorry) and then it dropped a lot 0.60 $. I wonder:

It's quite hard to put a lot in old coins that haven't been known or popular especially the time crypto begun popular due to bitcoin pump in 2017. If they were remain unnoticed before and after that then it's maybe have no chance to fully show their potential unless they will add a much better features that can attract investors. If those who'd been popular in time bitcoin pump still present now and still developing their platform its a good option to still hold and buy more while it's also good to take advantage in new altcoins knowing we fully do our research before investing and monitors it as sometime we were only able to earn in the new once like trading them after.
A big update is key. sometimes even some projects do not update according to their initial planning. something like that can sometimes make a big surprise. but only for those who have good development.
My dark horse is definitely Aergo. Partnership with Blocko, the biggest blockchain company in Korea, and considering the 30m$ it collected just by private sale without any ICO or such, it is my biggest prospect.
One of the lessons I've learnt in the cryptocurrency space is that nothing is impossible. Some persons met ethereum when it was traded for less than $20, but didn't secure it, expecting the value to drop, only to meet it at a much higher rate. It may be impossible for Bitcoin or ethereum to drop to less than $20 now. There's a Chinese adage, that says " the best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is Now". We need to take the bull by the horn and quit procrastinating. Get involved in holding some good tokens like ethereum, BNB, etc and hope for the best.
A few old altcoins haven't reached its full potential yet so I place my bet on those old dogs instead of new dark horse. I think I would put my bag on Chainlink, XPR and low-tier one like DGB. Though I like Binance, I don't see BNB could go farther than CZ's vision has set for BNB so its price won't really make a significant change any time in future.

How could you assume ethereum value will hit 10$ .If it would have happened or will happen in future i am the first person taking loan for buying ethereum even i can sell the things which i am having and will buy . I dont know about what you wanted to promote . There is still lots of real use case coins and blockchain technology in crypto space if we clearly follow the future events we can make big profit . I posted about Nuls when it was ranked around 150 CMC back in April, it now sits at 96. This project will eclipse NEO's 10Bil market cap in the 2017 bull run.
Well to hope is a good thing specially if you are hoping to a potential one that could possibly work the same with those who are in top ten. But I suggest not just holding on to one if you want higher chances, remember that crypto is unpredictable crazy matter that can break anyone or bless.

Nuls up 40 spots on CMC since I made this post, about to break into the top 100.
I hope some of you bought, an absolute monster.
Most new altcoins are branded as a scam. It would be a challenge for the developers to prove people wrong. It is difficult to please people in crypto if a project has a working product they would wish for marketing to increase the price, if a project has a good market value but no working product some would call it a scam. Take note that a project takes time to straighten their platform, if people are expecting projects to bloom over the year, they should try creating their own project. Everything has to undergo process and those who are in the top had a hard time and earned their spot to be on the top.
The next monster is Brapper (Brap). $10k market cap right now.
Nuls is a very good altcoin no doubt here, they hold a strong place in the crypto industry for a long time. Personally, I like Nuls and EOS technology very much and I think NULS a bit underrated! But I would not call it a next monster, because Nuls development is less and their use cases are not good enough anymore! I will buy NULS coin to make profits because bull run will boost this coin very much, but yet it is not the next big thing, maybe Cartesi, Energi or Insolar will be the next monster!

Maybe true but I like holding a bit of XRP as it has real case value, over 600 employees and aggressive plans moving forward. If I put my crypto hat on then yes it's a decentralised piece of garbage but my investor hat says it will pump in the next bull run.
This can happen, of course, Like any stock on market can pump too, a lot of good investors on XRP, I'm one that thinks that is not a good one for me, I prefer a few others coins.

In my opinion, I think there are three contenders and they are Ethereum, EOS, and BNB.
EOS has no future and Ethereum is a huge risk because of their PoS update. BNB is another story. If Binance will continue to grow then i see this token going much higher.
I sorta agree that ETH took a blow with the PoS upgrade, but I Can't see BNB rising too much, considering Binance has an obsession with power grabs and it's really evident they don't care about their community as much as they make it seem. EOS on the other hand, though it has its flaws, I think it just needs a decent update in the federation method, otherwise it has potential.
When I looked at the information about this at NULS, it seemed to be against other altcoins. It is close to the top 100, and the ROI is high, meaning its investors have not lost. The price even reached $ 8 at the beginning. However, it will go a long way in how long it will last, as bitcoin has hitherto remained in circulation.

Previous time only few coin exists and people couldn't gather their trust on those coin. Whatever they think they just throw it away. Now I think few very coin will do same as Ethereum. I have not heard about that project but will look into it, but to expect anything from China to explode we are already suffering from one of the virus that exploded world wide and now i do not believe that comes out of China 
. I am not a big fan of staking platform as those platforms are really not decentralized as anyone with money for the maximum will always earn the profits.
A few old altcoins haven't reached its full potential yet so I place my bet on those old dogs instead of new dark horse. I think I would put my bag on Chainlink, XPR and low-tier one like DGB. Though I like Binance, I don't see BNB could go farther than CZ's vision has set for BNB so its price won't really make a significant change any time in future.

If could be, but the thing with those supposedly shitcoins ike ETH, XRP is that they are way ahead of the game so obviously, there are a lot of people who we might call early adopters and bag holders and that they have gain so much 'trust'. Binance (BNB) is still fairly young, although one thing we can say about it is that they have the backing of CZ and his all mighty Binance exchange. If NULS will be very active and show it's true potentially then definitely in the future we might see it as strong as the top 10 coins we have right now.

A few time ago most of bitcoin fork has been held halving event but there is just so so, there is nothing special. Most people only have interested to bitcoin halving, as you can see on several medias there will be many people who talk about halving event and in this forum as well. I am almost read a bunch of thread related to bitcoin halving event which is mean there will be many people who hopes that the event can gives a lot of thing especially for the movement price. So, I only choose bitcoin as my store of asset and traded it almost everyday to increase my profit and you have to know trading is more profit rather you choose it for long term investment, just my opinion.
Every one of us has their own so called monster in their portfolio and it's a case to case basis, my own monsters in my portfolio are Bitcoin, Ethereum Litecoin, Tron and the new kid in the block called Idena, I expect these monster to give me a good profit when the market recovers from pandemic.

I recently got information for a binance, binance burn BNB coin with a high amount, maybe what will become a dark horse is BNB with burn will raise the price of BNB in the market
They have a deflationary mechanism this they always do from time to time depending on when the buy burn is scheduled. Without this strategy, the token has room for growth a lot is being integrated in the exchange which will drive price up.

Because DASH is a legendary privacy coin where Polis is just a random unknown coin, listed in only shit exchanges, the volume is very low! No proper developments! To me, Polis is just another shit coin!

Based on my experience that happens in 2018-2019 respectively. I also pick my so-called altcoin darkhorse, but it gives me nothing in return. other than that it was also cost me some burden because the money that I was invested to buy those altcoins is from a loan and until now it wasn't fully paid yet. I think I've already learned my lessons now, thats why today I'm very careful when it comes to investing especially in altcoins. One thought I have had is a lot of these coins outside the top 100 have competition that's going to be hard to compete against vs the bigger names. Any exchange will struggle to take market share from Binance etc, smart contract platforms will struggle vs Eth..
A booming industry that has yet to really make it's foot print in Crypto is AI, a lot of the top coins out there in this space are ranked way outside the top 100. Look at SingularityNET for example, you have a CEO in Ben Groetzel who has shared the stage with Vitalik, been on Joe Rogan's podcast (1.4 million views) and has built a great technical team across the world with a mix of experienced employees and grads from top universities. So why is their token AGI ranked at 353 on CMC, I think the timing of their launch with the bear market has a lot to do with it but I think if AI was to boom in the crypto space they would be at the front of the line.

Cool to see you were posting on here back in 2013, must have some good stories about early investments..I don't think WorldCoin (WDC) was one of them though!

I like this though, the challenge of searching for a needle in a haystack is appealing to me for some reason. It make me think there is still some skill element in this lottery people think we are playing.
In 2017 everything pumped, in the next run only the outstanding projects will and the reward of finding one is life changing. I'm spending all day every day looking at projects, I guess there's not much else to do during this quarantine!

Candidly speaking, the next monster still remains the current monster called Bitcoin. What on earth is to be a monster aside the one we have already had from the beginning? Binance won't be and can't be a monster because it is centralized, even the suggested altcoins BT OP still have a long way to go before be recognize in the society, so, let's be more realistic here. Bitcoin is decentralized and nothing centralized can be term monster except otherwise.
Xcana you are right, Bitcoin is the monster for all time, but we can't deny the existence of all other good
projects. I like decentralized projects and I need to mention one project it's DigiByte, one of the old and
real decentralized projects, many people say it's undervalued for years and that this projects is one of
the best ones for investing right now.
I will check Null's project, I heard about it, but I didn't do any deeper look into this project. Now when
we are in quarantine I have time for that!

Yes, it is very clear, the people in the cryptocurrency room must always use a good strategy to get a lot of benefits, because in crypto there are only two choices, if it doesn't work then we will be poor, and vice versa.poor imediately ? you will only be poor if you will invest all your lifetime saving on it and then you sudenly loose but if you will only invest tiny amounts ,that cant lead you to poorness . infact you didnt loose it all imediately as long as you are still holding your assets but if your lucky the coins value can still return to normal . i like the idea of op comparing old stuffs to new one , this gives me nostalgia and makes me happy that coins that are being bullied before are now a monster . same thing can also happne on most of the coins today

You are just looking at the good sides of the ruins but never the bad ones.
This forum is great because it keeps the history of all the coins specially bitcoin.
But there are also those coins which have been snatched away from getting a great value.
I know some before when I traded them from my bounties.
Some of them was left in the dark and now are dust.
There are just few who made it into the light.

Most will predict their favourites to be the next Monster. Well, I do not care which is saying which, all I want at this time, most especially considering the high influx of projects into the crypto space, is a project that provides a uniquely different idea and a product to back it up and not only that, I love it when the team of such project is not greedy, because that is one of the things that kills lots of projects. They would want to make money and thereafter, abandon the project.

We have heard it all before even the famous guys are shilling for some altcoins, its good to at least give hope to those who invest but I hope they won't hang on to it forever. The crypto market is still in the very early stage and there are more things to come that will make prices drop to the ground. Lets just be watchful to the chart that we can profit on time before these monsters drop dead.

I've been reading the archives of this forum over the past few days for the first posts about Ethereum, Binance, XRP etc.
Many posters calling them scams and shitcoins initially and a number of posters praying for Ethereum to get to $10 so they would become millionaires. I want people to look back at this thread in years to come and highlight the posters that predicted the next huge altcoins and it would also be good to see what people are investing in outside the top 100.
I'll start - NULS.
Maybe the best tech I have come across with an extremely dedicated team and great community. With it's easy to use staking platform, chain factory and Nerve - the decentralised digital asset service network I think this coin will start making moves into the top 20 over the next year. Constantly ranked in the top 10 projects on CCID (China based crypto ranking) it's only a matter of time before this project explodes.

There's reality to what you have said because the altcoins market during those time wasn't recognized and popular. The years of 2016-2017 made the ICO market at its finest and most of the altcoins benefited from it. But I don't think that we will get to see the same scenario again for the newer projects. They can pump too but not to the extent the same as Ethereum and other altcoins before. This is a little bit true. But the thing that project still an altcoin. I know this project is listed on many exchanges and one of criteria of a good coin however everyone knows that some of the coin can be delisted once their ability to provide liquidity is gone. Many projects have been like this also. Example is pundiX, before it is one of the highest volume but now? Not so sure about that. It has the same position like NULS unless they can retain their market and continue improve their platform.
I recently got information for a binance, binance burn BNB coin with a high amount, maybe what will become a dark horse is BNB with burn will raise the price of BNB in the market
I also this news, but their recent announcent is not enough to call it a dark horse. But they are the best market coin for now and that is for sure. Maybe they can be more competent in the future.

You can take those old posts as granted man, no one would ever think that Bitocin would hit $10 when it was $1, then no one would ever think it may hit $100 when it hit the $10 mark.
My point is that this crypto space is crazy enough to expect everything from. It's volatile enough to make you rich & also screw your capital just like that if you don't have a good money management, risk control strategy.
Don't take it on false hopes, YES some people made millions thank to XRTP back to late 2018 frist 2019 & those were to early adopters who grab it when it was less than 1 penny !!!
