The noise is coming from my GPUs

They are all new. I started undervolting them and it went great but still noisy.

Removing the front and use a new thermal paste will help better ?

The cards are all new and stock

Undervolt and keeping the same hash is possible right ?

How about the idea of using more smaller fans at lower speed instead of 1 big one at high speed.

Would that matter in noise...

Yep, undervolting doesn't affect your hashrate, and will lower your power consumption, which means lower temps, which means lower fans speeds.

Also, smaller fans tend to naturally spin at higher RPMs, which are louder. The larger ones end up being the quieter options. At least for PC case fans, anyways.

Is the noise coming from your GPUs, PSUs, case fans, or box fans? We've got a number of Gigabyte 280x, and they're real quiet. You can barely hear them at 80% fan. Your PSU fan shouldn't be making any noise. Your case fans would only be making noise if they're either REALLY powerful, or they're cheap. And finally, your box fan is going to make noise no matter what. There's no way around that.

Well, undervolt the cards then. The reduced heat will allow you to run the fans at lower speed. You should undervolt anyway, because you risk killing their hot or stressed VRMs/power block.

I have a setup of 16x Sapphire 280x it's 4 motherboards with 4 cards hanged.

I use a box fan to keep the temp at 73 C and I didn't undervolt them.

But the noise is killing me.

Are there ways to get the noise down ?

AC in the room ? Like the one where you put water in or something like that.

I can here them when the door is closed that's my problem Smiley

Or do I need to use more fans or something like that ?
