Its the ones labelled Peripheral. Read your PSU manual. If you bought a modular PSU like the one shown, you should have some suitable cables.

It's powered by the PSU. The whole point of having powered risers is to stop the motherboard burning up trying to supply to all those GPUs.
Some people argue that they shouldn't be necessary because the load on a PCI-e slot is defined in the specs, so boards should be up to that spec, and cards should not pull over that spec. Do you want to experiment to see if it's true?

So which slot/port do I put the molex cable in the psu? Do i need to buy cables? I have a corsiar rm750. Should I put it in pheriphals?
PSU. You can power it from a Molex connector from the Psu or get a molex to SATA connector and use a SATA power cable from the PSU if you're running low on Molex connections.

Hi, first of all... sorry if this is a noobie question, for some reason i just couldn't figure out what powers the molex on the powered 1x to 16x riser cables. Is it the mobo or the psu? Do I need to buy molex cables? Thanks
