By now, the Norwegian Child Protection Sercices (CPS) should be internationally recognised as a nefarious agency. One can find a collection of articles demonstrating that at www.fampo.no/cps.html. It is therefore a good thing when media in other countries criticise the Norwegian CPS.

However, media coverage of a sinister thing as Norwegian CPS cases should be serious. I have written a comment on the coverage of the Norwegian CPS in the Lithuanian talk show An hour with Ruta here: http://www.fampo.no/absurd_explanations_on_lithuanian_talk_show.html. What this talk show does, is presenting the following explanation of the high activity of the Norwegian authorities in cases where foreign families in Norway is involved: the Norwegians are desperate to get children with foreign genes. This is in turn due to the rampant inbreeding in Norway.

One does not have to be a genious to see that this explanation is absurd. There has been some mentioning of this talk show in Norway. While it is a good thing that ordinariy Norwegians see that their authorities are facing criticism abroad, laughable explanation is no more helpful than the Norwegian media which are silent about abuse of power (for an account of Norwegian media and abuse of power in Norway, see http://www.fampo.no/media2.html).
