It is not correct that all bounty campaigns are created fro cheating the participants. The honest teams always reward the loyal bounty hunters and the market conditions obviously affect their decision partly. If the bounty distribution doesn't happen in a month, I don't complain because of the lack of project research.
If the project failed to meets its requirements then no one have to be blamed but making wait for the rewards is bad bad for the project.Like I said simple accusation will ruin the whole project so they won't do that. But if they mentioned it earlier at the bounty rules then hunters have no other choice.

Previously they mentioned about it in the rules, but recently we have not seen such rules because most of the companies are choosing for IEO in lower value exchanges. Most of the companies failing to raise the money and which it is impossible for us to get paid from the companies. So there is no choice for us and we have to look at other potential bounties.

If most of them turns into IEOs then the remaining will be not much worth to promote because the project team itself don't have confidence on their project so its just like gambling, you may earn some money but the chances of happening is less.So better to join on the bitcoin paying signature campaigns or just its better to ignore any kind of bounties to make this forum better place.

So the reason most wil now prefer to join the campaign that pays ETH and BTC even when the company has a background of scams like the p2pb2b exchange that was about to start a signature campaign. Campaigns paying tokens are just not worth doing with this type of market condition. Hard times to earn BTC, a dim light in the future if we can't collect btc today. Smiley

You started your claims very well and i almost agree with your point until you said
Quote
most projects that don't pay hunters are from new bounty managers or self managed by the project teams.
which i can confirm that is not correct.

There are some self managed bounties that have ended well and there are some bounties managed by old and legitimate bounty managers that had ended  up with apology.

This depends largely on the project team and not the bounty manager.

Following a good bounty manager is a good choice mostly if you don't know how to choose a good bounty. The ones with experiences and has proven their reputation of choosing a project that will actually pay their participants. They also secure the payment because it's part of their standard so that they can ensure their people to get paid once the bounty is done. It's one of the factor that I can see so far but there are some that still goes to the risk which is necessary if the pay rate is promising.

of course they will complain if they dont get paid because working on a bounty is not easy  but not all are complaining because not all have been scammed  . trading on exchanges or being listed on exchanges does not mean that they are legit but they can still be called a scam if they dont pay their workers and how is that possible that they only pay the few participants but they ignore the other's  ? they wont pay others only if others didnt did thier job well  .

Trusted and well-known bounty managers here in the forum is most likely use an escrow or other means to verify the payment for management and bounty hunters whenever they manage a new campaign although, most of the time those campaign that have escrow offer low rewards while some that don't have escrow offer great rewards and this is the risk for bounty hunters that they take.
Yes especially if the bounty campaign rewards their participants by paying bitcoin, an escrow is highly needed and recommended to use. There are a lot of bounties that are not going to pay their people, we as a bounty hunter needed to research first the campaigns that we are joining so that we would be never regret that we have waste our time on them. We should be selective in all means. Also join only to those trusted managers like in us Hhampuz, as well as yahoo, dark star and so many more. They are well known in terms of bitcoin sig camp.

Everybody is complaining about bounty projects that failed to pay bounty hunters after bounty ends, these projects are not fake and they are trading with good volume on exchanges, they intentionally ignore hunters, there are few others that pays half of the bounty hunters and forget the rest, i feel your pain and anger but i think you should consider my thought, follow good bounty managers on this forum and you will always get paid, among good bounty managers i 100% trust arteezy and bubbalex, i don't know how they always do it but hunters always get paid, seem they take their job very serious, most projects that don't pay hunters are from new bounty managers or self managed by the project teams.

Do make sure you do your research though, sometimes not all projects from good bounty managers are legit.
Both of those managers were a lucky person and i believe both already added more qualifications before managing any bounty from the ico.
Remember, a good ico will always try to use the service from the trusted managers. who can manage the campaign properly and that's why the new managers will be getting a lot of the scam projects caused by the legit ico will always try to choose the legit manager too.

if you remember even some new managers are getting legit ico like what happened withs sessia ico. This depends on how lucky you are to get legit ico that wants to run the bounty campaign.

Your suggestion about only following those manager isn't always 100% correct you will always get your bounty. Manager has nothing to do with the distribution (mostly) they only manage the bounty then let the token distribution back to dev

I can vouch for arteezy's diligence and commitment to delivering quality services to both projects hosting bounties and the hunters performing project promoting tasks. He values quality work,  just like btcltcdigger although the latter has been managing fewer projects lately.

You do actually got some valid reason for you to choose up projects to be followed on but not totally a guaranteed thing for you to succeed or getting paid in the end of the day as always
but this is way more better than randomly picking up projects to promote.Always stick to good and known managers yet they are already the first in line who do make research before
handling a campaign and ofcourse they would choose the best ones according to their criteria since they do know that they should select the legit one for them to be get paid.

I have the same experience before and to be honest, it made me feel really doubtful about bounties. I only got paid with coins that have a small value and some of them didn't pay me at all. Since then, I have looked for trusted managers and do a series of research in every bounty that I will be joining. I'm glad that there are still trusted managers who are doing their duties well because responsible and reliable managers will always look for legit projects.

I got a conclusion through your perspective here, bounty manager is the reason for bounty hunter to get paid, isn't it?

I guess there are many people who have a perspective as you, but remember the trusted/good bounty manager will pick the bounty hunter carefully. Which mean, just a good poster or for those who don't tried to cheat the bounty campaign who will be accepted.

As you may know, I doubt if there is a project/bounty campaign and its participant just only join with one account. So, the bounty hunter itself who will be afraid when they try to join the trusted manager most of them will avoid it (I'll bet it) because they are afraid to be cought if they have joined with a bunch of altcoin account and they are afraid to get banned.

As I've been long time here in the crypto currency community, I experience your situation. There is nothing to do about it since as we gain trust to each and everyone of us here like as you want to follow those bounty managers. We can't guarantee those bounty managers here as they just relying to the team of the project well there is a huge chance but not all the time will be successful.
Receive payment on time after bounty campaign finished make me very happy because I think have good thing for every bounty campaign project, many coin will delay distributing after bounty finished and they try to get profit by keep delay sending reward, when coin listing maybe price have down because advice ICO team sell coin with higher supply.

Even with a good bounty managers, they cannot guarantee you that you will receive your rewards in time. It doesn't matter whether one project were listed on a good exchanges or not. The distribution of the rewards are fully in the hands of the team. Managers could only help by asking the team when the distribution will happens, they cannot make it faster or something. Whicever it is, research is a first thing to do and at least it will minimized the chance of joining a scammed bounty.

Being paid is not the end of the story, yeah you got paid but how much you could sell your tokens? Some bounties could easily distribute the token to participants but the thing is the token is not yet listed or if it's listed for sure it's on low liquidity site. So it's still useless though.

The whole bounty thing is hopeless even you got good bounty managers as the whole thing depends on the team on how they market their token.

There's no doubt that a good bounty manager would contribute to the legitimacy of the project and the bounty operations in particular. The bounty manager has a responsibility to ensure that the payment for the bounty is made as promised.

Actually there are some managers who hold the bounty funds at the escrow but actually it doesn't mean the project is still good since we are still dealing with new tokens and coins even though they are been distributed there's still no guarantee that we will earn richest nor enough since we should count on how the dev support to list their tokens on exchange to became more valuable and I'm kinda little bit discourage upon joining and doing the task eventhough the bounty campaign is handled by reputable bounty manager.

The market is not regulated. So obviously you are on your own when shit hits the fan. It is your sole responsibility to search the authenticity of every project you choose to indulge with as well as the team reputation. That is why I consider the crypto term DYOR as equally important and popular as HODL.

Yes most of us had been through the pain of not getting paid after working for bounty projects and it feels more frustrated to know that the project is listed in the exchange but still the developers ignore bounty hunters and sometime they don't even pay the bounty managers so it's a tough thing to choose any project nowadays and I would rather sit idle for sometime until we see good projects rather than wasting time on greedy projects.

Yes, but some projects from them is still do their promise. Bounty manager is just the person responsible for managing and calculating the stakes for the bounty, and all the rest such as the number of allocated tokens and the time of allocation is the decision of the project team. Prestigious BMs will find truly legit projects, so hunters will feel safe joining those bounty campaigns.

I don't really care with who is the bounty manager is, as whether he is good enough if the scam project will use him and will pretend that they are legit and they can pay him in fiat then for sure that he will be able to manage it and will not do his own research as his basis is if they paid in fiat means they are more likely legit. So, better to do your own research and believe in yourself more than anything else.

in fact the first thing to do is see the reliability of the bounty manager but even this can not give certainty of payments if the team does not give the token to the manager the participants will not be paid, the only two valid solutions in my opinion are weekly payments or use of escrow before the start of the campaign
Escrow mode was once run with the bounty manager as the person in charge, but not anymore because most of them are also awaiting payment via coins from managed projects and also not assigned as distributors. Manager's reputation and ability are also important factors, for example, arteezy has a team for each section, their admin in the telegram community is more than one and interconnected, I think he as a leader has an intense time with the developer and determines an active attitude.

I have participated to bounty campaigns that didn't pay me, they just promise to pay without dates. I'm not sure if they really will pay but I'm hoping they will since are already trading their tokens, I figure they may have to hold the distribution for now since if they do, all will be dumping and might kill the project that haven't even jumped yet.

I have looked into some that really have no intention of paying so we'll see when a scam accusation will be posted by users. The sad part is that bounty campaigns are not regulated so its all us bounty hunters vs them.

In my personal opinion, the manager who handles the bounty does not determine that the project will be a good project and we will always get results from it. Although sometimes it is true that the bounty manager can be used as an excuse for us to participate in a project because every project that is delivered can run well or arguably people will choose to participate in projects managed by these people to avoid scam projects that often create many people are disappointed.

Personally I don't think that doing bounties is a reliable source of income or a worthwhile investment of your time. From 100 projects - 1-5 are actually legitimate projects with a working business model who have the required competency and management team/developers to implement it.
at this time its right , but few years ago Bounty was good job for us  when its salary in good amount. But now its not worthed anymore since many project occur although it have bad quality.  Today only few project which is pay us worthly and another projects didn't. They just take our time and energy to help them cheat investors.
I agree with the two of you, Because bounties today are hard to trust and even if we say they are from the legit and trusted bounty manager we cannot avoid falling in price especially when they are actually listed to the market.

The first to see a bounty thread to see the manager, especially those who have DT++ or from the enscrow, are eligible to participate. after that my suggestion to analyze a project, it's useless if the project is not clear you are promoting a scam project and I hate it, the allocation is also important and must be considered a budget issue for the bounty, not infrequently there are also some corrupt managers. treat your time as best you can, as I know lately you only pay with shitcoin ($3- $10).

a good manager doesn't mean that the project is good too because last year i joined a trusted manager that already manage many bounties and a few of the bounty he manages is resulting a good amount of money
but the one i joined that managed by the trusted manager just have no value after 4 months running

Even good managers can be cheated and they are not perfect. They can overlook sometimes. Do not rely on others. YOu have to do your own research about the team and company you want to do bounty on. If they are good and respectable company, they will not cheat those who work for them toward their success.

Bounty managers do matter but with respect to distribution of bounty token rewards they are as powerless as a bounty hunter and it solely depends on the project team as far as i know because whenever i have faced scam or no payment bounties the manager has always accepted that it is not his fault and he is same like bounty hunters because he is himself not paid for his management work.

If a successful project refuse to pay the bounty rewards then it will be much easier to make them pay you by creating scam accusation against them which can totally ruin any project's reputation so I don't think its not hard to get rewards if you got stakes on bounty spreadsheets but the projects which are not paying the rewards are about to run as scam they are here to make more money and run away later which can be avoided by following good bounty managers but this should not be a priority when selecting a bounty to promote.

I think the best thing about this bounty reward is to follow a manager who has always delivered. A manager who sees it as his role to ensure that participants in his bounty get rewarded for their time. Some managers are really not showing concern and some company managed bounty mess things up.

Research is very necessary, but sometimes if you follow bounty manager, for example arteezy, bubbalex and other old bounty managers in my opinion the projects they offer are not always feasible to follow, because sometimes the choice of a new bounty manager is more tempting, and the choice of the old bounty manager sometimes it can't be trusted. some of them can sometimes get drama projects like don't want to pay a prize for some reason.
