The order of the threads in Service Announcements.

I didn't see the bump option in top right in a service announcement thread. I've noticed it after your post. theymos's explanations for why bumping options was made to stop spamming Bumping changes on some boards so if it's worked keeping the forum protected from spam it's a benefit.

If you want or to see only the new or the latest post that was written in a board just write that behind the Link of the board.

For Example ,for the Altcoins Ann Board it would be like looking that:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0;sort=first_post;desc

Now you see only the new post that was made there.

Good reply dear, I also didn't know about such a thing but I never tried to notice it OP here at least noticed this change maybe because I am not that active in those threads (except Bounties but that was old). But still, thanks for this useful piece of information. I think the matter is resolved now.

I don't know if any old user has responded to this already but I have searched and can't see anything about it.

In the Service Announcements section I see the threads as sorted in a way that I don't know what it is, but it is not by the last post published as it happens to me in the rest of the sections of the forum:

In the other sections the threads appear in order of publication of the last post. Let's see Bitcoin Discussion for example:

Any idea why this happens?
