it is hard telling what will happen with the all the asic and fpga

but money is what controls the world and make it go around

if gpu mining falls so does the crypto market
do i think it will completely fall off the map no but it will hurt a lot of peoples feelings financially

2017 market boom was because gpu mining took off
everyones brother uncle cousin could take part of that market
taking that away and then placing "walls" between those markets would kill it
more take interest in mining to make money then trading the markets to make money its easier everyone likes it easy

personally i dont see gpu mining going anywhere
i do like progs take on balance it is a good step in the right direction
