Technically 5 years ago the guy didn't order a pizza and pay with bitcoin, he paid a friend to order him a pizza for him and that friend paid with fiat. Clever gimmick that earned a nice nostalgic story for Bitcoin, but technically not really something that represented any significance in bitcoin adoption or progression in use.
I could pay you BTCxxx equal to the amount of my Federal taxes. Then you could pay my taxes. Does that mean that the Government accepted bitcoin for payment of taxes? No.
Now I want to eat pizza and cheesey breadsticks.

Feeling hungry after seeing this thread...there are a lot domino's pizza branch in my city. But i can not assured if they accept payment with BTC

I made the mistake to post a joke about Laszlo's pizza on reddit and it got downvoted like crazy on \r\Bitcoin
.... I think the jokes are getting old and the people are getting cranky about that subject. We tend to forget that the two pizza's Laszlo bought was valued at the same prize it was priced today. He did not know, that the price of Bitcoin would skyrocket like that, as we do not know that now.
We might laugh at this OP within a couple of years, when Bitcoin goes to the moon.
Let's just enjoy the moment and store some coins for the future... I am going out now, to get me a pizza with my Bitcoin... OP you started a spending revolution!

Over here in the UK, aside from exchanging coin for vouchers, you can actually order a takeaway such as pizza through Takeaway.com.
I'm sure that there will be some takeaways that will accept a Bitcoin payment instead of standard cash or debit card - but Takeaway.com is a pretty convenient portal.
I've not actually spent any coins on food yet, and to be honest I'm a little reluctant to.

It's a good thing I like jalapenos. I didn't realize that Domino's cheese stuffed breadsticks came with jalapenos. But this is kinda my Bitcoin Pizza day.
