Ethereum is great, because they feature smart contract, thay have really fast transaction and other good things. Ethereum waken up the crypto world and I would not doubt that it is second to bitcoin.

We all see controversial articles out there questioning the validity/power/longevity of ethereum. Found this insightful article of Rahul Sood (ceo of Unikrn) talking about it: https://medium.com/@rahulsood/the-power-of-ethereum-c1bfc60c7851

Thoughts?
I read the article and i agreed that it is somehow promoting his Unikrn ICO. Though, i agreed with some of notable points on ICO and ETH.

"“Don’t buy your chickens before they hatch.” The blockchain is all about minimizing the need for blind trust, so why would you blindly trust any ICO based on future promises of use cases, brands and community?"

I believe that we as investors should invest on ICO that does not offer future promises, instead, the ICO/tokens is already concrete and they need investors to facilitate the growth of this ICO. Second notable point, most of the ICOs releasing today are based on ETH. Somehow, ETH has good functions like smart contracts to run programs.

this was such an insightful article and it's very rare to see the ceo talk about their ico in the middle of the crowdsale.

on the topic of unikoingold, that is a very promising ico and the platform is even more promising. If you just look it up on similarweb, you'll see that they get tons of traffic. A simple implementation is way better than waiting for the platform to be developed.

Ethereum changed the defination of cryptocurrency and blockchain visibly.
And it also opened door to more advanced blockchain technology.
It may or may not be as powerful in the future, but it is powerful now and in history.

This comment it's accurate af! haha. Due to being more opened door and having a more advanced blockchain technology and also having hundreds of tokens behind it, Ethereum's grow, although may not be so fast and high, it may be steadier than bitcoin's.

Ethereum Has made a big change in the entire altcoins through its growth that happened in unexpected time from the starting of the year. And later this has been termed to be temporary, but the growth keeps sustained and moved forward reaching high with different projects running on its platform making it grow in a stable manner.

I think he did well in explaining his insight about ethereum. I think his opinion about ethereum might somehow help in prolonging ethereum's longetivity since people question ethereum's validity just because of ICO's and the ease of people buying the wrong tokens for wrong reason is emphasized on his insight. It is also highlighted that UnikoinGold is better than it's competitor. Even if the medium post somehow is for advertising UnikoinGold, it is unique IMO because it also helped ETH in the process which is rare for a CEO highlighting their work.

Like the previous poster, I get the feeling that the article was just a promotion for Unikoin.

One tip though, if you are going to promote or market something, make sure you do not bad mouth or run-over others while doing so. Its bad taste and actually very unprofessional. I'd say that the team behind Unikoin has much to learn.

I on the other hand am not part of any professional team so allow me do some bad mouthing. There already exists numerous gaming tokens. For example, ENJIN coin. Why would i support Unikoin, a new, unknown, and seemingly unprofessional team, when the Enjin team already has a proven track record and has been delivering quality products for a few years going.

I think the article offers good insight into ethereum and someone that has a product out there built on it. I'm a gamer myself and have been looking at Enjin as well. Unikrn looks to offers all kinds of things like skill based wagers/match play, tournaments, and match betting that enjin doesn't. That's sort of why I chose UnikoinGold over Enjin. Both have been on the market, but Unikrn also has a proven track record and it's legal.

At the end of the day, I think comparing Enjin to unikoingold is odd because they do different things. Enjin is a crypto and smart contract platform that gives game devs, content creators, and gaming communities the required crypto-backed value and tools for implementing virtual goods. Unikoingold is going to be a universal esports token which (at the moment) will be converted to unikoinsilver on their platform, but based ont he news I've seen, they're going full steam to expand their reach/utility.

He posts this:

However, if the community continues to support trash, like Athene’s stupid no-whitepaper-token — I won’t link to it, but you can find this guy on Youtube — then the volume of regulation will be too high for any government body to manage.

I am subscribed to Athene on YouTube and just looked at his channel now for any token announcement... I have not seen any coins... What is he talking about?

Edit: I read his entire post and it is basically an advertisement for UnikoinGold Be Warned!!
