"entry" means it's suitble for someone who don't know FPGA to trial by low cost, "silent" means its decibels is under 44, you even can't hear it. Here is a short review as reference  https://youtu.be/BaNZyr7fWCw

Thanks for the clarifications and for the youtube video. I like the fact that it operates producing such low noise. I see that the heat sink is sold separately (they say in order to reduce the costs). Do you have to use a specialized one, or can one use some standard CPU radiators?

You can use Intel CPU LGA115X series radiators

Thanks. Good to know. I really appreciate it.

We will wait and the most important thing is that everyone wants to find out if the product is worth the price for which it is sold. Or it is better to take a more outdated option but several times cheaper.

Thanks for the info, looks promising. A lot of supported algos. I have never owned one of these FPGA miners, but the time has come to think about buying one. The price seems to be very affordable, by the way. Now when you say "entry silent miner", what does it mean? Silent as compared to what, or can you run it without a cooler?

It needs CPU radiators to work together, unless you wanna use it to make popcorn Wink

Blackminer keeps their promise ahead of schedule as usual, the pre-sale Blackminer F1mini are on their way to the masters.

The F1mini, an entry silent miner launched by Blackminer on March 29, has been shipped in order.

It only took 18 working days from the launching of the pre-sale to the first batch of miners leaving the factory, which was 10 days ahead the pre-sale announcement.

Blackminer global sales director Lili said that, most of Mini were ordered by FPGA newbies. In order to make a satisfying FPGA mining experience for them, Blackminer team has worked hard not only on hardware and algorithms, but also on services to create a better mining experience for them, Blackminer team will continue to create surprises for users.
