That poll was posted when bitcoins were 150-170, I believe so maybe those numbers were realistic, but right now we are looking at bitcoins at 65.

I think they will climb above 100 again but it might take more than a week. There is likely to be a crash tonight though, when mtgox comes back up.

YEP posted yesterday, so its crazy what change a day makes

Considering the ignorance I have read in the comments of blogs talking about bitcoin, I wouldn't be surprised that hardly anyone will have heard of this latest problem and will still be buying like a nutter as soon as MT Gox opens! $200 by the end of the 1st day, maybe!

What really scares me is how many people think MTGox is the only bitcoin exchange.

Its no wonder I am able to buy a bitcoin from BTC-e for $60 and sell to someone in localbitcoins for $120 - easy money is really about ignorance, and being the right side of that line!

Hey, do you know how can add funds to BTC-E using a credit card? I get lost with all the russian payment processors.

Thanks!

I don't know where exactly it'll be, but it won't be anywhere near $200.

53% of people here think Bitcoin will be $200+ hahahaha... This proves that everyone on the forums can't stick together and control the price.  If they could it would never have fallen under $200.  The majority who bought large amounts, drove up the price, and got out high are gone and not coming back.  No one who thinks it is actually worth $200+ would have sold in the past 2 days.  I laugh but it is really sad because I had great hopes for Bitcoin as a currency.  I hoped for it to slowly go up in value over time along with adoption rate as a currency.  Those who over value it are hell bent to destroy it.  And, yet in their ignorance they sit here and pretend like they are pro Bitcoin.  If you want it to be useful for its designed purpose you would never wish for it to be overvalued and unstable.  Commodities go up and down in value through speculation while currency need to be more stable in value to be of use.

I:m thinking $160 is a GREAT middle price and a healthy one.
We need some stability! We need a professional exchange.
That being said, it depends in part of external factors, DDoS, and people sentiment after the crash.

ya I agree with that as the next price to sort of stabalize at it should not jump sixty dollars overnight. no way no how is that healthy. a slow dollar a day, maybe 50c a day uptick for a year would be just fine.

From past trends after an MtGox lag price drop, people get skittish and kinda feel things out for a few days. We will have that going into the weekend.

The biggest question will be, what happens Monday morning.

$300

ya I feel that things will rocket here in a bit, this got the real investers hungry, they saw that it can take a hit and keep on truckin.  They knew there was a bubble everyone kinda knew there was one, now that the pop has come and gone and holding strong at 178 (what it was three months days ago !!!!) I think big money will trust and jump at the opportunity to have cheep coins.
