Patience is key
The clamor of the citizens on the cutdown of cost of leadership sound too strange to our leaders and their way of policy and their stomach greed desire why depriving the poor masses their rights and benefits, how can a government who is not able to pay above 62k minimum wage be buying two private jet for president and vice as well houses for leaders who already have private jet even the past previous left those garjet behind the seat and they are approving new one which the money is to be borrow by world bank and title it road infrastructure for rural area as the purpose, while it's for private jet and the personal House, my question is are we the citizens really human whose eyes is opened or our leaders sees us as blind human and why is it that we are easily deceive and allow them to make their way without any interference like others nation with Africa whose do stand against government policy that kick against it citizens because we most time see the western not been part of the third world countries, whereas some African countries are getting it right  please your contribution is necessary.

i always tell people that the people we call our leaders are not their to lead anyone, they're just there to fight for their selves because I haven't seen anything and any improvement from any of them since I was born. Can you see how cost thing's are now but they don't bother now you're seeing that they want to get a private jet, hmmmm. If you talk about the citizens we ourselves we're also in cause of all this nonsense happening today, because we saw the rightful person to vote for but because of the money and if I get there I'll help all your family members follow and cost it as well. So the citizens are not blind the ones who made the wrong decision are blaming their selves now, it's better we see and learn now because it's not going to end. They'll always see us as nothing in their eyes because we made them what they're today and they don't care if we exist anymore, it's left for the citizens to let go and move on with the government existing. That's my advice to the citizens.

This is a brilliant summation of the current reality of our country Nigeria.
However, to understand the inaction of the masses one has to put into consideration how the current government got into power. Tinubu ran a purely ethnic politics, divide and conquer. He successfully tore the frail fabric of unity we had left. The igbos and Yorubas can never truly heal from what was perpetuated in the name of election campaign.
The man called our president has successfully weaponized every institution in the land. We no longer run a three arm of government anymore. We have a legislature that is eager to pass any bill by the president into law without scrutiny, we also have a judiciary which is eager to give judgment in favor of this man provided he keeps their coffers full.
Now back to the citizens. You need unity to challenge the government, without it no result can come out of any protest. The Yorubas won't protest because it's their brother, the Igbos won't because they would be made the face and scapegoat of the protest, the Hausas are not bothered because power goes back to the North after Tinubu.
And even if they were to be united the ruling party is willing to cause mass human rights violation to hold on to power. And sadly no one deserves to die for Nigeria. Case in point "EndSars" they died for nothing, nothing changed, people still voted for the people that killed their brothers in arms.
