When you scientifically combine complexity, with cause and effect, with entropy, as they exist in this universe, there is no way that things can exist without God. There are two ways you have to observe the universe:
1. In as complete detail as you can;
2. Without any preconceived notion.

The, above, three scientific points can't exist without God. What God is exactly won't be clear from those points. But that God is extremely powerful, way beyond our understanding and even our ability to calculate, will be shown.

Indeed it's the opposite.  Evolution is a function of organisms attempting to delay death or prolong life, either for the individual or the colony.


God may not need to exist for us to die, but His Grace does help many live a more peaceful life and not fear the uncertainty of certain death.

Atheists like to portray themselves as too intelligent to accept the dogmatic specifics of faith, but they still can't explain the origins of life.  Bla bla bla the primordial ooze bla bla bla, but when asked to define the compounds of such and their origins their arguments start to fall apart.

True, we understand the basics that extreme gravitational pressures of a supernova that likely preceded the formation of our solar system created the existence of the minerals and chemicals needed for life to exist, but where does gravity come from?  How does it relate and interact with other universal forces that we can't define?  We can define, measure, and predict gravity on a terrestrial level and even on the level of our solar system, but on a galactic level it becomes less predictable and on a universal level it's completely bonkers.  The more we learn the more questions we have.

Belittling faith is a way for those with marginal intelligence to make themselves feel superior to others.

But the point is that everybody dies. Consider George Soros and Klaus Schmidt for example. They aren't dead, yet. But they look rather old and worn out, and they are not near 120-y-o.

Why do I suggest considering them? They have enough money to live a good, healthy life. The point behind considering them is that the best and wealthiest of people die. If there is a way out of death, shouldn't they with all their money be among those who would find it?

It doesn't matter what you die from. Because even if nothing point-blank kills you, you simply die anyway.

Here is the thing that makes death so strange. When you start out as this complex baby, you grow to a healthy 20-y-o, but then you deteriorate. If you could grow to 20, why can't you stay there... or even get better and healthier?

Nobody knows the future. Maybe George and Klaus will turn out being a couple of guys who don't die. But by the looks of them, they don't seem to be going in that direction.

The point is, whatever other holocaust there might be, there is a standard holocaust that hits us all, and has been hitting everybody all the way back to the furthest distances of the past... to the beginning of time.

You're having a point to an extent here, but i may not completely agree or support this motion because people die of different kinds, the cause to ones death will determine whether it should be termed under the holocaust kind of horrible death or a natural type, there are many reasons to why people die, but concluding to a single cause of kind may not be acceptable base on the reasons behind the causes.

It's normal because death is normal. How long do you live? 100 years? Then you are dead, and all your thinking and planning are lost. Do you think the medical will ever be able to find a way to extend life to, say, 300 years?

Realizing that all the billions who lived before the year 1900 are dead and gone - from the beginnings of time to 1900 - is something that makes one humble and realistic about life.

Nah, this is quite normal.   BD has probably been told his god created the earth over a hundred thousand times.  Repeated brainwashing, esp when combined with social functions, can make a person believe anything.

Think about it. Outside of possibly a few stragglers around the world, everybody who is older than 120-y-o is in the grave, or is ashes. The holocaust of death has hit everybody one way or another. Does anybody think that it will be different for him/her?

God made this world perfect. And when mankind broke that perfection, destruction and death started. So, the world is still acting perfectly by giving death to people because of their breaking of life perfection.

The only way to eternal life is through God's Son, Jesus the Messiah. And the only place to find out about Jesus in detail and truth is the Bible.
