For me, I think the most rediculous project I have seen this year is Universal Protocol (UPT) which raised millions in their tokensale and have partners like Brave but when they finally decided to list their token in an exchange after over a year of when private sale always conducted, they listed in Bitcoin.com exchange but the really funny part is that no jnvestor could deposit in the exchange for the first week of trading, the team says it's so that "the token price would grow organically" but millions of tokens were being sold in that first week, even with all the gimmicks, total buy orders in the BCH pair is just about 23 BCH.

miracle tele, at first it was a good project because the project worth something to the investors and bounty hunters. afterward, it became a joke after seeing their ceo raging on their telegram, it is common for me or even for us to see a scam project(disappear without any news) but it is rare for me to see this funny act from the ceo.
Just a few months ago I still thought Miracle telephoto was a great project with a product that worked well in reality, but now it's becoming a mess. For bounty hunter this project is not a bad project but for investors it is a big disappointment.
It is true that there are ridiculous projects this year but you should know that it will happen knowing that the market is on a downfall, it is hard to produce a project that will be successful if there are no investors want to invest because at a time like this, most of the investors just holding their token because they are not taking the risks, they are afraid to lose their crypto by investing in that project. Maybe we should wait for the right time that the market will recover. It can happen since we all know that cryptocurrency is volatile in terms of value, it is changing time by time.

Now 2020 is already getting nearer i want to know which projects are the most ridiculous this year, either through investing or bounty hunting, for me its BlueNote, a bounty project from a well known bounty manager called 'Arteezy'. With due respect Arteezy have conduct good bounties as well like tokoin among others, What about you?

NOTE: do not rely on bounty managers when selecting bounty projects, do your own research

While I agree with you that bluenote is one of those nonsense projects, at least it showed signs early enough why investors should avoid it. But you see that sparkster, it's an absolute disgrace right from 2018 where it sold out it's ICO. This year was supposed to be the year it justifies all that hype back then but the owner ridiculously listed on a shit exchange despite amassing several millions of dollars from its token sale. The project is as good as dead to be honest

Zichain (about 1,5 year ago) to me is the worst bounty campaign ever ( I did not do much bounties)
after all hard work, they paid me some token (which not even the same with spreadsheet)
and then never listed on any exchange, and they bashed everyone who asked about listing thing.

Bounty manager who is professional and always careful in eliminating scammers and cheaters is one of my references before joining bounty. Yes, arteezy is one of my favorite BMs that works very well, besides that there is also Julerz who also has a red list for bounty participants who are trying to cheat.
Arteezy has had success with some of her brightest projects lately, with Harmony, Tokoin, Bluenote also providing quite an advantage. Hopefully, the next project will also get good results.
Nothing is really bad, except for some old projects such as Buddy, Ambit, etc. which have unclear continuation and the price is far from expectations.
Bluenote was not successful and its one of the worthiest bounty from arteezy, i think the team of the project ruined everything themselves, the first mistake made by the team was listing on bad exchange

The list of failures and scams is a long one certainly and nothing can be achieved by naming them all here. People will still fall into such traps. The main reason is easy money. Everyone is looking to become rich and want to achieve this without investing any money. Even after knowing the scam rate, still making investments is pathetic. The only way to avoid this is to support the existing coins like bitcoin.

I don't remember the names (gosh there so many and they really not that memorable) People doing all sorts of bs. No proof of anything. They claim because they sell their token for an amount that people will at least get that amount of value. Telling bounty hunters these lies. Yes in a perfect economy that would be the case if the project was any good which it wasn't when the token hit the market the sold it for 10k each and on the market, it sold for a 100 satoshi.

Ubiatar was an Italian ICO that proved to be a crazy failure (everyone can tell whether or not scam): the bounty hunters paid 30% of what was promised, investors have a token that is worthless. Even the Bounty Manager himself was not paid the consideration of his work.

Very sad actually. I hope  this up coming 2020 more good projects emerge..

If you go on the altcoin announcement section. You will see bunch of ridiculous project there, No need to pin point some project because the majority of the project during
2019 is all scam or composed of non-technical person about cryptocurrency. I believe they are ponzi owners or group of newbie crypto currency investor that
want to take advantage on ICO which is not effective now.

Pretty much this, I mean there are a lot of failures and scam ICO's this year alone so it's hard to pinpoint or single out someone. This bear market really exposes them but the thing is that those ICO are not going to stop because they know that someone gullible is going to invest and be suckered into their project, so it's still a win-win situation for them.

Arteezy indeed a good manager but it doesnt mean that projects he handled often succesfully launched. Harmony and Tokoin are his project with good liquidity, a lot more like FST network, Blue note and many more. This is correct, people should not rely on manager sometime nice project comes from a unknown manager too.

Personally, I think the Epstein coin released by McAfee recently is one of the most ridiculous projects.

He says it's designed to spread awareness that the guy didn't kill himself, when in reality it's just another one of his annoying ways to promote himself.

The token completely flopped too, despite the attempt.
I generally think that everything that makes McAfee useless and funny. Everyone in this market should understand that McAfee is simply a clown who does not understand anything in technology and he earns money on the illiteracy of people.

Many people doubt McAfee's credibility and I think it's unfortunate. McAfee is one of the pioneers in the antivirus field but when it comes to cryptocurrency, many people do not believe in the analysis and many projects endorsed by McAfee are less successful in the market.

Seems someone beat me to the punch to mention Sparkster but in this Cryptocurrency spaces there is no shortage of stupid projects, one of them is the Emoji Network LOL which launched their IEO on Huobi launchpad, their twitter handle was opened a few days before their IEO was announced, they didn't even have a whitepaper and there was no team members on the page, I was quite convinced that the token ticker (LOL) was really a mockery of their investors.
And yet people invested alot on that Emoji project, i think people are just stupid this days or they prefer any coins from top exchange, its like they don't bother doing research because the project is from big exchange

Well definitely Sparkster, I doubt anyone could dispute that. They screwed thousands of investors with false promises, delivering a product that a first year student in a tech/computer high school could throw together. All in all, a major clusterfuck that left a big black spot on some "established" crypto influencers as well.
I recall how the lots of Ian Balina hyped the project they looked promising but yet failed. One thing is certain, without past tract record these developers are bound to fail many ideas are I teresting on paper but can't be implemented.

This year i have joined some bountys and it end without paying a dime. That is why i hate to join any bounty that hold very long time and end failure. I think doing some research before joined any campaign will safe your time getting wasting your time in the future.
So all this time if you join Bounty, you never do research? so you don't get anything when you join some bounties? I hope this will all be learning for you

There are so many rubbish project this year, and there is need to clear them out of the space, I will pick Velic, an exchange tokens, that lost 50% of its value on the day its start trading, these guys just want to be part of the space but can play the part. We need to send all these stupid developers out of the space that are just after people's money and nothing else. the IEO price was 300sat and now trading at 8sat

Temtum and Tokoin which in my opinion are good in this bounty Temtum is a good bounty that I feel with a stable price and also the tokens are not so cheap, Hhampuz manager is my idol when I hold the altcoin bounty.
Arteezy is also a good manager and many fans because he always launches a good bounty and produces so all the participants are happy.
Right, TEMTUM is the best bounty ever which price is still stable after distribution of hunters. I think their budget was not big so that price is not affected by hunters. As a bounty manger Hhampuz is very professional. Tokoin is Indonesian based project it’s highly brightest project also this token good stability in the red market. Arteezy.rtx is very famous manager and most of the project legit which he managed.

I really like your closing point, urging people not to rely on bounty managers when choosing bounties. Talking about investment, my worst this year is actually DENT. This is because I decided to invest based on their great development updates, but unfortunately the price didn't follow that trend, it went the other way and I lost almost 900$, would have lost more if I didn't use stop-loss. Note that I still think the project is cool, but my investment wasn't profitable at all. Talking about failed bounty projects, bluenote mentioned here is among, including others like HYDRAX which doesn't give updates anymore.

I don't expect an off topic post from a senior member account, clearly you haven't read topic and it's meaning before jumping in to reply, the topic is about the most ridiculous bounty you know this year that you feel was not worthy of your time or that of other participants,  not the other way round,

In my opinion i would say Eosex hosted by Julerz, it was a complete joke, i wasted a good amount of time on that ridiculous campaign all to gain nothing, my reward is still in the exchange, i think the whole project is a big scam, i hard high hope on that project, but unfortunately it turned out to be another disappointment

I thought bluenote was big because its sort of supported by Nasdaq or so they claimed. I didn't see a scam thread about them though.

One thing that I see is that they claimed they were listed on dobiexchange but I couldn't find them there.
So many bounty manager's reputation were ruin because of these projects, we've seen some projects that we really see potential, the team members are confident in showing their faces on youtube presentation but still end up as scam.

I also did not find Bluenote (BNOW) on Dobi Exchanger. it looks like the tokens have delisted from there. but, it looks like the token is still listed on Coingecko, but it doesn't have an exchanger in the list. I just think that this year there are quite a lot of ridiculous projects, it's just that most indicated scam.

Well bounty manager is just a person in charge of running a bounty campaign, and almost decisions come from the project team: the listing distribution time. Arteezy is doing work this year, with some high profile project like Harmony and Tokoin, but inevitable unsuccessful projects. That's what is usually seen on the market this year.

Absolutely right, we can't always depend to the name of a bounty manager. Not all projects they run will be successful. We have to research all information about bounty project and find out who the real team from bounty project.Does the team have a criminal background? I think this is very important.

To me, the most ridiculous project of the year is Moozicore! They started the ICO sale since 2018 and they keep raising funds until September 2019 but no one knows how much they really raised! Such shady behavior. Pre ICO, ICO, so many IEO sales, even I think they did not leave a single shit exchange to conduct their IEO sale! Then finally they announced IEO sale is finished in Coinbene! The price was stable, but now I realize that stable price was fake, manipulated! Because when the investors and hunters received their token, the price falls down by 100%! Now I feel bad for the MZG staking members.

For me the list is long but I can quote Bitwin, Petchains, and even ichiba bountyhive as you say it must do the research ourselves
That's right, it needs further research if we want to join a project, especially this year there aren't many projects that really benefit all parties, both investors and bounty participants.

During my bounty this year, almost all bounty did not pay off, and many bounty stopped halfway like Emjac and Vecap Bounty recently.
Artezy is indeed a phenomenal manager now because their team works professionally and almost everything is paid when we participate in their project and maybe the favorite manager is still at Artezy.
now the big name manager also does not guarantee a successful project. even some artezy project managers also have not been successful even there is no news from the project. whether it works or not but when the project is not updated and our development can conclude that it is a project scam.

miracle tele, at first it was a good project because the project worth something to the investors and bounty hunters. afterward, it became a joke after seeing their ceo raging on their telegram, it is common for me or even for us to see a scam project(disappear without any news) but it is rare for me to see this funny act from the ceo.
Miracle Tele are actually a good bounty and good ico company, And thier are working product and good invesment for people. As you said they are also returning to the scam, and many investors have lost a significant amount of money here. My friend was also joined in the facebook, twitter campaign and he immediately sold his token in forkdelta for 3 Ethereum.
they perfectly doing exit scam strategy. Many people didn't thinking miracle tele could be scam be projects. They work vey impressive on early time , and even its price could stable when another projects down. Unfortunately they could not keep investors trust , and finally running and let their projects die. Many Bounty hunter very glad when they receive reward, some hunter that sold their token happy now. And another very sad when they still hold it.

if the silly category is a project that doesn't pay or is a cheap price, almost all projects this year are like that. various reasons have been revealed by the development team, such as altcoin market which is so bad that they don't dare launch their tokens to the market exchange for fear that the price will be very cheap. and also various testing for new exchangers which in my opinion actually inhibit the growth of the token itself.

NOTE: do not rely on bounty managers when selecting bounty projects, do your own research
I haven't joined in any new projects for quite some time, but I do agree in that matter.
A well known bounty managers doesn't always mean that the campaign they're managing was and will be a good one. But it doesn't mean that every of their bounty was a bad one as well. Same thing with some unknown managers. The projects that you thought is promising, could be not what you've expected, too. And vice versa. You could see pros and cons in choosing which project to join.
Bounty manager reputation didn't give any guarantee to us jf projects manager will give us worthed reward. Good reputation will give us confidence to participate in their campaign, atleast we get profit probability bigger than other Bounty manager. Good manager always bring hype in coins that they manager. Investors thinking BM already selected this several time and make sure kt the best.

I think that Matic network was the best and the most interesting project of this year. Definitely the most successful one, launch on Binance, several big partnerships, amazing trading volume and a lot of more interesting things.

Don't really rely on bounty managers as they are paid no matter what, instead steady the project see it's impact form the investors or the review it receives or if you already join see it's performance if it will be able to succeed as many investors didn't invest in ICO now. I have joined in some bounty and didn't continue even registered since there seems no progress in their crowd funding meaning I will just be wasting my time. Always be updated when you join bounty.

Well definitely Sparkster, I doubt anyone could dispute that. They screwed thousands of investors with false promises, delivering a product that a first year student in a tech/computer high school could throw together. All in all, a major clusterfuck that left a big black spot on some "established" crypto influencers as well.

The list of most ridiculous projects of 2019 will be as long as the independence letter but surely, Sparkster tops the list. The Ceo sold jargons and impracticable technology to the public who participated in its ICO through the hypeman Ian Ballina. With over 20m usd collected by Sparster, nothing was achieved only a meagre listing on Idex which delisted the token in few weeks. The Sparkster saga was nothing but a shame

miracle tele, at first it was a good project because the project worth something to the investors and bounty hunters. afterward, it became a joke after seeing their ceo raging on their telegram, it is common for me or even for us to see a scam project(disappear without any news) but it is rare for me to see this funny act from the ceo.

Bluenote is, of course, a very funny project that very tricky disappeared from the market. I also participated in the Athero project which also very successfully deceived its investors. they also raised a lot of money, then they even was tradable on the Mercatox, and then just the founder of the project disappeared with all the money. Well, probably the most fun event is the famous Miricale tele!

Arteezy is a good bounty manager and a successful one too, bluenote failure on the other hand just happened, i promoted the project too but the teams are not capable, they dump before listing date and they denied it, you talk too much about this on their telegram channel you get blocked, this has nothing to do with Arteezy, no mattet what just do your research very well

same for me, sparkster did a brilliant job robbing people off neatly, i was so stupid to involve few of my family friends at that time and till date they stop trusting me, but till date i still try as much as possible to keep investing in good projects because i belief i will get lucky soon

Almost all of the projects were ridiculously under funded this year. Even the large name as Bitbond failed to get the cap they were expecting for.
I'd call bitbond one of the most ridiculous project of this year. They were a good STO and has promised atleast 4% per year return on the investment that could reach to 8%.
They are licensed in Germany and 4% is huge compared to what German banks are providing the interest in. They also have the scheme to buy back all tokens on maturity after 10 years.

Arteezy is one of the few bounty managers who succeeded in this forum. When we look at the current situation, it is a great success if even a few bounties are successful. He was the bounty manager of harmony, tokoin and so. Maybe bluenote failed, but do not stop following him.

You can actually compile a very long list of ridiculous projects this year for sure. And not only this year but also the past and future years. There have been and will always be ridiculous projects. Not only ridiculous but scam projects. And I think you don't have to mention a single manager because most of the altcoin bounty campaign managers are handling a scam project or scam projects. I am done participating altcoin bounty campaigns. The last one was BitBond. It was as scam as the rest of scammer projects.

As we all know 2019 was not a good year for the most ICO projects, as well as for Bounty Hunters, Since most of the projects are not successfully raise its needed funding so it was failed, Because it was failed the Bounty hunters are not getting paid, All of the sweat and effort was vaporized. But some projects are successfully raised some money for funding like you are mentioned," Tokoin hype is getting much attention from the investors that's why it was successfully finished the campaign with flying colors.

I totally agree:

Most of them probably couldn't keep up with large number of ICOs spam-flooding the market. It would require alot of time, effort, money to thoroughly go through the large number of new projects. This would easily lead to cutting corners and carelessness trying to cover as many projects as possible. Another problem is the general condition of the ICO market... this must have demotivated them.
