true, and i have been waiting for decentralized exchanges to become more popular and more used for over a year now. but sadly i have not yet seen them pick up and become as popular as the current centralized exchanges like poloniex and bittrex despite these centralized exchanges being extremely bad and highly risky to use.

i wish the link you shared here reviewed these exchanges more than just listing them with a couple of lines but it is still a good list and i have not even heard the names of most of them. so thanks for sharing it.

You are welcome! Hopefully these DEXs will revolutionize the trading and exchange industry sooner than we expect. I focused more on a general view of DEXs, so maybe I could write some reviews about them in the future.

As well as decentralised exchanges, it looks like decentralised markets are on the brink of being huge.  OpenBazaar 2.0 has shown us what's possible and I think that darknet markets are going to become decentralised very soon, what with all the closures.

If you already have a decentralised system, like Bitcoin, and then you implement a decentralised exchange and decentralised markets that feature multisignature escrow, there's pretty much no point at which exit scams or problems with the service are a possibility.

Crypto is going to make trust less and less relevant all over several systems.

A lot of people including Jihan Wu and John McAfee have prophesized that decentralized exchanges are the next big thing. This is in fact more than simple prophecy but exactly the blatant truth.

A decentralized exchange enables the exchange of tokens peer to peer (P2P) without any intermediary and without any fees (except for mining). Currently there are quite a few first mover decentralized exchanges and there are also a few motions to improve the decentralized world. However, once again the world is still very new to this arena and also by reading this article you have already gained an advantage.
