The main body responsible for supervision and regulation of the us securities market, the us securities and exchange Commission (SEC) suggested that one of the founders of Centra Tech was involved in the organization of a fraudulent ICO.

Centra Tech project is accused of fraud
Famous boxer Floyd Mayweather have engaged in the active promotion ICO blockchain project Centra Tech, until then, until December 2017, investors have been filed a class action suit against Centra. The company was accused of violating the US securities act.
In addition, it is said that the creators of the ICO mislead investors about the company's relations with the payment systems Visa and Mastercard and misinformation regarding the composition of the working team of the project.

The defendants actively put forward a Centra card debit card, but according to SEC data, there was no cooperation between Centra and the payment systems mentioned earlier.

A little more than a month before the filing of the claim from the company left Sohrab Sharma and Raymond Trapani, who were among its founders.

"We claim that Centra's founders have made tremendous efforts to create the false impression that they have developed viable and advanced technology," said Robert Cohen, head of the sec's cybersecurity division. "Investors should be cautious about investing in digital assets, especially when their sales are accompanied by promises that seem too good to be true."

The third accused was Raymond Trapani, who is the author of the idea of creating this startup. In addition, he is accused of manipulating the Centra (CTR) token trade to support the cost of the moment artificially.

Confirmation of the involvement and guilt of the accused in the crime was found in their personal correspondence.

Sanctions
Now the prosecution demands to recover from the founders of Centra $32 million, fines and interest, and forbid them to hold senior positions, to participate in the distribution of any securities.

Impact on the cost of CTR tokens
It is worth noting that recent events have had a detrimental effect on the price of CTR tokens:

Earlier this month, the sale of CTR tokens was stopped, in connection with the accusation of Sohrab Sharma and Robert Farkas in embezzlement of $32 million, "obtained through the sale of unregistered securities."
