Most of their predictions within past decades have come true to this present day. Its like the producers of this popular cartoon tv show have a crystal ball or something.

In one scene in a episode I don't know which season it shows a crypto holder buying a jet ski with a device that looks like a ledger nano or hardware wallet or whatever. The crypto holder must be rich to walk in a shop and buy his own jet ski lol.

But in that episode the producers wrote a message on screen saying they know who Satoshi Nakamoto is  Shocked

I believe in a future episode they will reveal who Satoshi is when Btc at its price peak or something, who knows?
i think it's smart way to attract viewers, anyone can say anything about a particular scene, you can find two people saying two different things about the same scene, and the producers now know that people find this kinda stuff interesting, so you'll see it more often to make you invested in watching their cartoon.

I think they don't know. Because if anyone knew Satoshi's identity, I think they would have disclosed it already. I think Satoshi is either a top secret person or he is no longer alive. But who knows, maybe it will reveal itself in the future.

Whatever they know they always reveal in their cartoons. This means even the Simpsons don't know who was Satoshi.
Also don't have any hope if satoshi will reveal himself any day. Those who claim to be satoshi are all fake.

Do we have any episode of Simpsons which showed the highest price of bitcoin ? Since many things shown in that cartoon series become true i would really like to know what will be the highest peak of bitcoin  Wink

I also believe there is something strange about the simpsons cartoon. they have known a lot of things by now and this amazes me. It is really surprising. How do they know, are these producers special people? I am very curious about the answer to this question. but I think the satoshi issue should not be taken seriously. They may have done a scam here and I think they don't know who he is.

..then I'm pretty sure that wasn't meant to be taken seriously.
Why we should not take it seriously when almost all predictions in this cartoon has come true?
This is reinforced my doubt that some secret society of elite people are behind BTC.
Simpsons is also part of these socities agenda. They use it to spread message across their community members all over the world.
I have already create a thread where I have expressed my doubts that byc is created by illuminati.

Many of the predictions haven't been as miraculous as many might think they were. If you take Trump becoming president there are shows where he gives interviews talking bout presidency even 25 or 30 years ago. What I am saying is it is not that they came up with a lot of predictions which nobody would have ever thought of before. There were slight hints he may one day go for presidential elections even though he denied it when asked by journalists. It is still entertaining to read on the predictions, but the Simpsons creators are no clairvoyants either. They are smart about their content.

Why would the creators and producers of the show write that last sentence lol.

So many things Simpsons has predicted in the past that has come true which is strange or a bunch of coincidences that matches the same mathematical probability of impossible  Grin

In this scene they not predicting, they claim they know  Shocked
There is a conspiracy theory that the makers of Simpsons are time travelers who know it all about the events in the future and are using cartoons to either warn us or just prepare us for what is to come. So, the makers are just buying into that theory and just making claims randomly. This one just happens to be about Bitcoin.  They are using it here just for the comedic effect and trying to be the advanced know it all kinda guys. If they actually knew who it was, the FBI would probably be on their case already(or are they O.o)

It could be created by the illuminati but nobody knows that for sure so still remains a conspiracy theory instead of conspiracy fact! They could have created it and abandoned it cause it wasn't designed in a centralized way to begin with so it serves them no interest. They also could let bitcoin run like a social economic experiment to trial it before releasing their CBDC's, who knows  Huh

There were conspiracies theories before even bitcoin came out such as the 'Cashless Society' conspiracy by theorists such as David Icke & Alex Jones.

We all know cash will be a thing of the past soon.

However what can kill Bitcoin is if it is found out later that the illuminati or whatever secret society is still in control of Bitcoin then that will send shockwaves through the crypto market sending a message to everyone that bitcoin is not really decentralized. Again this is another theory.

As long Bitcoin is truly decentralized and there's mathematical logic and equations that prove that then we know for sure Bitcoin is the real deal because no secret society or illuminati can manipulate mathematical equations as mathematics is truth. 2+2 will be 4 and always will be, the answer will never change in time!

There's Quantum Physics which is the strange side of Science where its possible for Secret Societies and Illuminati can take advantage of for their gain and manipulation. Time Travel is possible in the Quantum World and space

Lets just say if if I told everyone that the world was round few hundred years ago people would have called me crazy Grin

Science can be manipulated but not mathematics.

It is a mystery why the producer of The Simpson makes a statement like this.
but I think it is worth watching until the end whether the prediction or the spoken word will be correct or not Smiley

The producers of this infamous cartoon show wont give it up or reveal Satoshi like they said in their last sentence shown above.

I don't think the producers would just lie about that statement or the whole statement is meant to be a joke as I doubt the viewers were laughing at text on a screen just for few secs scene.

This series, or rather its creators and writers, is really open a little more than ordinary people. They have already proved this more than once with their non-obvious but rather accurate predictions embedded in the series of the animated series. I personally think this is much more than just a coincidence, and it opens up a lot of room for interpretation and people who love to talk about conspiracy theories. Sometimes I look with interest in the old seasons in order to find something that I had not noticed before.

In reality, it may be a stepping stone for some people who have been searching for Satoshi Nakamoto for nearly a decade. I think it's a little scary for the producers and others to know who Satoshi Nakamoto is; knowing who he is could cause a lot of problems in the future if they really did.

We know The Simpsons have predicted a lot of things in the past, and it makes me nervous to think they might know what will happen to cryptocurrencies in the future. I'm no longer concerned with Satoshi; instead, I'm more concerned with the effect that bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies can have on our community.  Cheesy

I won't believe anything until proofs are made public.

Many people began to pay attention to the animation of The Simpsons because of its success in predicting several events. But did you know that everyone in this world never heeded the predictions from The Simpsons that never happened? That means there are still a lot of predictions beyond common sense that don't happen. That means, The Simpsons are not the most reliable fortune tellers in the world. The statements they make, cannot be denied because they are wrapped in animations that aim to entertain.

So sad with the popularity of The Simpsons, why are there still people who use the name of this animation to create a project?

From this video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kavP9OJ5aM

What if I were to told you that Intelligence agencies such as the CIA started Bitcoin or funded Bitcoin back in the late 00's by hiring a best mathematician at the time such as Satoshi himself or used the pseudo name Satoshi to hide the real identity of this mathematician to psychologically tricking us into thinking that Satoshi is some clever Japanese guy who is good at maths. Our minds have been conditioned from young age that Japan is a clever country full of clever people that always have the latest tech, a country that is decades ahead in the future than all other countries.

I remember hearing Conspiracy Theories from the likes of David Icke and Alex Jones back in the late 00's before bitcoin came out of this conspiracy theory of 'cashless societies' where cash will be a thing of the past and governments can track/trace/analyse everything you do financially with digital currency so no more privacy for financial transactions.

Bitcoin fits perfectly in this cashless society scenario.

However...

Do you guys think Bitcoin is like a beta project that is abandoned by the Intelligence agencies because they figured out and realised late into the project that they or the hired mathematician made it decentralized by mistake so the project did not go ahead in their favour because its decentralized instead of being centralized however the non-privacy is still there with bitcoin with its open ledger where anyone can view transactions publicly? So its like abandoned project where us the bitcoin community picked it up and made bitcoin what is today?

Only the Intelligence Agencies such as the CIA have the capability to hide someone identity for years and make someone invisible in this day of technology/data where everything is recorded and tracked.

Ask yourself why hasn't the past presidents since Obama come out to ban bitcoin or say anything bad about it unless they started it in the beginning? The US Government always keeps quiet on bitcoin  Huh

If Bitcoin is a abandoned cashless society conspiracy theory project then still good can come out of this were us the people and bitcoin community can pick up abandoned bitcoin and make it work for us right in our favour. Its like John Connor re-programming a bad Terminator to be good and help him back in the past in the movie Terminator 2  Grin

I never believe in any fortune teller, the Simpsons is only for entertainment so we don't need to consider his prediction as 100% accurate, we cannot also tell that he is a fortune teller by the things that have done by them, the probability to get right on a prediction is 50% so there is a half chance that they can tell a correct story and that is different from knowing who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto, I don't believe that they know who Satoshi is.

Here's another prediction from Simpsons

They have shown Bitcoin with infinity sign which means the value of Bitcoin will cross all the benchmark in future. If we take into consideration the average time of 15.6 years then this price level could be achieved by 2036 which seems to be realistic somewhere. The prices are above $60k in Q1 of 2021 with many institutions investing and accepting Bitcoin. If the same pace continue then we could see this turning into reality.

What are you thoughts about this new "Simpsons" prediction?

Are we really seeing this coming?

What makes the predictions of these animated films fun is that they can break everyone's expectations of what the film predicts. There are actually a lot of factors that can make predictions from The Simpson happen, besides they are related to the world regulators, or it could be that the world controllers grant their ridiculous requests.
And when something that is said to be animated happens in the future, the call back to the film's message seems really cool and begins to praise The Simpson as an animation worthy of respect for its message.
Only time can tell the clarity of the message this animated film creates.

I do not think that you really believe everything you see in the Simpson series, I do not think that you believe that the writer of the series has a magic eye or a time travel machine, there are a lot of exaggerations that have been said about the series and people have talked with great exaggeration about this series and the predictions that occurred in the series.
I think all of that is not true, the writer is really talented and has a good vision for the future as he is writing his predictions for the future and the people who have been affected a lot by the series try to turn this vision into a reality.

Very funny bro Cheesy that’s just a joke there is nothing like them knowing about who Satoshi Nakamoto is, they are just playing and trying to raise people’s expectations. They don’t know who Satoshi is, and right now I don’t think that there is anyone that really knows who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is, I believe that he was able to cover up his tracks pretty good so that no one will get to know who he is unless he decides to reveal himself.

Even those that he worked with claimed they never saw him, and that’s because he never wanted any of them to know him and only communicated with them online only.

There is controversy over the discovery of the popular virtual currency Bitcoin.  It is not yet possible to get a clear idea about the identity of its discoverer Satoshi Nakamoto.  Some claim that a group called Satoshi Nakamoto Namo invented bitcoin which many claim to be Indian.  Some even recognize Satoshi Nakamoto as a Japanese man.  Some say that there is no such thing as Satoshi Nakamoto in the world.  That's why there is a murky atmosphere among people even today.

Hmm that Crypto Barn photo from the Simpsons isn't anything about cryptocurrency. You can actually google the definition for crypto and it's purely about cryptography. Which is, really not the same thing as blockchain-based assets (one can be the other, but the other is not necessarily the one).

You enter codes and get something. That's literally no different from entering coupon codes at a supermarket, it's some form of cryptography.

I believe that is.
I know the Simpsons creators/producers has brilliant minds making a scene that could predict the future, but I guess people are so hooked up with it that everything they see could become a conspiracy theory just to uncover what's behind a simple message or scene from that family movie that's supposed to have no meaning at all.
I don't know but I don't believe they knew who the real satoshi is.

"The Simpsons" Episode Shows Bitcoin Going Up to Infinity
....
A sneak peek into the future?

Cryptocurrencies and blockchain also made an appearance on "The Simpsons" last February, with Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons offering a surprisingly in-depth explanation about the new technology.

The idea that Bitcoin could go up into infinity sits easily with industry leaders such as Kraken CEO Jesse Powell and MicroStrategy CEO Michael Saylor, who are convinced that there is no top because the U.S. Dollar has no bottom.

So they could know something, but maybe not Cool I once published another story: The Bitcoin Story… mh, maybe

The Simpsons Story
The Simpsons has once again been found to predict the future.

As if it needed any more kudos for trendsetting, The Simpsons has once again been found to predict the future.

Video phones, robotic librarians, even horsemeat scandals have all been casually hinted at far ahead of their real-life appearances – and now, guess what has joined the canon of Simpsons predictions.

In an episode from the eighth season, “My Sister, My Sitter,” first aired on 2 March 1997, the show neatly presents Homer and Marge on a date outside the ‘Crypto Barn’, outside of which a slogan casually states, “A place for codes.”

While perhaps designed to be part of the neighborhood’s less illustrious infrastructure, selling spy equipment in addition to these generic ‘codes,’ its echoing of today’s cryptocurrency outlets is uncanny.

In 2014, you can enter a physical brick-and-mortar establishment in many countries and procure physical codes such as Bitcoin scratch cards, just as you would have gone to cash a cheque seventeen long years ago.

Interestingly, the Crypto Barn also features in an extension of the video game The Simpsons: Tapped Out, where users should rebuild Springfield following a small accident caused by Homer at the Nuclear Power Plant. Fittingly, the property is the most expensive available in the release, with a price tag of US$81,000.

While it is now perhaps not such a quantum leap to imagine a crypto-themed episode in the near future, it remains to be seen what the show’s next haunting prediction will be. Its 26th season is currently in production and set to air in October, and it would seem prudent to watch this space.

Crypto just means encrypted data that is data that we can read becomes unreadable by turning this readable data into unreadable codes so hackers/interceptors in the middle cant read this sensitive coded data when you send it to someone online that can read it and decode it at the end

Bitcoins and Alts are just like this where no middleman who can access your transactions when sending.

So crypto is like the middle between sender and receiver.

On the window in the Simpsons barn it says 'secret code Clearance' indicating there's a sale of crypto. And we do get sales of alts and bitcoin in bear markets lol.

It also says loads of codes on the window and we all know there's over 7000 alts.

It also says the right password, we all need the right password to access our crypto wallets right. Without the password the wallet becomes useless.

So the replies I'm getting here is quantity increases the chances of correct predictions. For example lots of Simpsons episodes hence higher chance of correct predictions

But according to mathematical fundamentals and use of this logic that is for example if I buy a million lottery tickets then your saying I will win the lottery Huh

Doesn't make sense.

The lottery is random numbers drawn, and lottery tickets are random guesses and millions and millions of lottery tickets are bought to guess and predict just 6 winning lottery numbers.

The Simpsons predictions are specific not 'Random'.

The thing is that the predictions are not as specific as you may think which definitely helps the chance of many of those predictions coming true, in the case of the episode where the Simpsons predict Trump will be president, Lisa only mentions the last name Trump, it could have been one of the children of Donald Trump, or just another person with that same last name, so as you can see as long as someone with the last name Trump became president in the future the prediction will be right, but since it was Donald Trump then it is given even more legitimacy since he is probably the most famous person with that last name.

It's fun to see and take what the Simpsons have done over the years. It's just unexplainable, but having accurate predictions multiple times has everyone thinking that he is a time traveler. I know that I shouldn't believe something like that, but is it always a coincidence? How lucky are they?

This is a link in which they have predicted something 18 times.

We will never know but the next correct one could be an asset's price like BTC on what it could become when Satoshi is known. It's always going to be a great topic to be conversed about.

Woah 18 times? it sounds crazy. I never really cared about those kind of things but now i think about it, it does seems suspicious. How can they be right for lots of things?
But well, i don't think they really know about satoshi. Might only be joking. Anyway, i think it should be the time to stop talking about satoshi, like, let him hide in peace. If he really want to come out, he would already right?

I think there might be some people who know who Satoshi is, but they're not going to tell anyone because they respect Satoshi's right to stay anonymous. I don't think that any of these people are in any way related to the Simpsons show production, and those who made the episode surely just meant it as a joke. As for the general and popular thing about Simpsons predicting stuff, I agree with those who argue that they didn't. They've made tons of episodes about a world that is generally not so different from ours. So no wonder there were some similarities there. There's a good South Park episode about the Simpsons which effectively communicates the point that they did so much stuff that it's hard to find something they didn't do.

The question is do they really predict the future or just a chance of coincidence , because those shows that they predict regarding to Bitcoin comes reality but for long time after and not right after the movie has been showed.
As The Simpsons has made incredible predictions so far, I really started wondering what if they know who Satoshi Nakamoto is also.  Grin  Maybe they really know it but don't want to announce it to the world. It is a probability and maybe it will always gonna be left like that too.
Will the world change if They really know satoshi ? as the Satoshi nakamoto that created Bitcoin denying Himself for 10 years now?
common be realistic , if people may know Him or not still the problem is if Satoshi is willing to show himself .

Well, their predictions might’ have been right a lot of times but as for them saying they know Satoshi it’s definitely a joke that they are cracking, they don’t know Satoshi. And moreover I don’t think there is a need for us to be knowing who Satoshi is, he has made his decision to leave Bitcoin and focus on other things that are very important to him and he has also decided that it is best for him to stay private, so I don’t see the need for forcing out his identity when we can clearly see that he’s trying his best to stay hidden.

And I don’t know how these Simpsons are able to predict some events, but anyway, a show with lots of episodes and they keep doing new things all time there’s definitely going to be one thing that’s likely to be seen happening.

With the potentials Bitcoin posed and the historical data of the market whenever it block halving, it not difficult for anyone to predicted the market to be bullish so there's nothing special about the Simpsons cartoon producer.

But in that episode the producers wrote a message on screen saying they know who Satoshi Nakamoto is  Shocked
Did not know that every holder of Bitcoin is Satoshi Nakamoto so, I also know who Satoshi Nakamoto is. Seriously, just ignore what the producer said it looking who Satoshi is just the fast advertisement people use this day.

I believe in a future episode they will reveal who Satoshi is when Btc at its price peak or something, who knows?
Only Satoshi or people like Theymos who could check Satoshi's pm log can somehow reveal who Satoshi is. Why is this even an issue?

I think the thing about cryptography was discussed before The Simpson came. So as they will be easy to imagine what the future will be with the cryptography (crypto currency). Or indeed, the crypto currency maker, be it Satoshi Nakamoto or whoever he is, is moved to make crypto currency because he sees these impressions.Indeed, too many things happen today in The Simpson film that many people think that the life that is going to happen has been set by the film The Simpson, but I have always assumed that many of these things were coincidences.

It might be a strategy to dive attention to the movie. Seeking to know Satoshi will be an adventure that will yield no positive result and this will never end as long as blockchain exists.
There will actually no end on knowing who satoshi is unless satoshi comes out and proves it to the public but that's unlikely to happen. And for taking attention, you're right.
Anyone can say that they know who he is but it adds flavor that it came from this show because of its history.

It's fun to see and take what the Simpsons have done over the years. It's just unexplainable, but having accurate predictions multiple times has everyone thinking that he is a time traveler. I know that I shouldn't believe something like that, but is it always a coincidence? How lucky are they?

This is a link in which they have predicted something 18 times.

https://www.businessinsider.com/the-simpsons-is-good-at-predicting-the-future-2016-11

We will never know but the next correct one could be an asset's price like BTC on what it could become when Satoshi is known. It's always going to be a great topic to be conversed about.
Since they have so many episodes then some of the things they put there have to be right, that is a given, however without a doubt the one that is the most remembered is the one in which the Simpsons predicted that Trump will win the US presidency, it is important because until the very moment it happened many people still did not believed there was any chance of it happening, and yet it did, and the Simpsons predicted it 15 years earlier.

It is so ironic why some episodes of The Simpsons predicted what had happened lately but maybe some of them were not intentional. And we’ll never know if the writers and producers really know Satoshi Nakamoto, maybe they were doing it to create a noise and so people will do their own research on who Nakamoto is.

That's neat but keep in mind that the word "crypto" refers to cryptography not cryptocurrency, in other words it has nothing to do with bitcoin. It was only recently that people in cryptocurrency world shortened the word cryptocurrency and started using "crypto" instead to mostly refer to altcoins.

I'm not a fan of The Simpsons shows, so I don't regularly follow all the episodes of The Simpsons. So I don't know what percentage of success
The Simpsons predicted, but until now I still believe that no one can know the future. And also regarding Satoshi Nakamoto's identity, Bitcoin has
been more than 11 years since its release. And there are no clues to reveal the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. Based on this, I doubt that
The Simpsons really knows who Satoshi Nakamoto really is. In my opinion, all the predictions of The Simpsons that prove correct are no more
than coincidences. So don't take all the predictions from The Simpsons show too seriously.

The Simpsons predicted so many things that came true and there predictions are like 1 in a million not like 1 in 10 and they got them right consistently which is impossible when looked at a mathematical view.

I'm sure even mathematician Satoshi himself will be surprised on The Simpsons predictions that came correct.

Sure there's predictions in Simpsons that haven't happened yet like aliens visiting and taking over the earth lol or Robots Ai taking over or time travel or clones or whatever the episodes has shown but just because it has never happened yet doesn't mean it can be ruled out. Also remember scientists say we are not alone in the universe  Grin
The Simpsons is one of my favorite shows and the most daring one was Donald Trump becoming the president in my opinion and the script writers are up to date with the current affairs to mix with the fun and so is the reason it is one of the funniest shows ever and the probability of predictions are slim but the things they predicted were outlandish at that time but it became a reality. But identifying Satoshi is the most talked about topic and it is not a big surprise that they included that in their script.
The question is, do they've really know who's satoshi? They pretty know about on how big crypto market is specially Bitcoin and they cant just tell the public casually that they really
know Satoshi is and even if they wont tend to tell, then they do really believe that they wont really be forced out? Those things that they had predicted in the past and eventually
happened then i do believe that this is just pure coincidence.i dont really believe on any conspiracies or some natural talent when it comes to
future predictions.

I've watched that episode I think and that note can be subjective to the viewers. But no one really knows who's satoshi and despite many of the episodes of the show were like predictions, that's not going to be taken from them.
But what I like on that episode was that they've shown the possible price of bitcoin in the future. IIRC if that's the right episode that I've watched.

I think the producers of "The Simpsons" create so much content that the percentage of accurate predictions will go up as they create more and more content.  Wink  You only need a wild imagination and a lot of luck to make some good predictions.

They have used almost all the relevant and current topics to boost their creativity, so they running out of controversial issues to give us more entertainment. Every episode is jam packed with laughs... and excellent angles to every topic... so it was just a question of time before they picked Bitcoin and Satoshi Nakamoto.

Having 1 or 2 coincidences is possible but having dozens of coincidences is questionable.
You have to calculate the success rate not just focus on how many of their guesses came true.
For example if I make 10 guesses in total and 9 of them come true, I have a success rate of 90% but if I had made 1 million guesses and only 9 of them came true I have a success rate of 0.0009%.
That's what these shows are, they make some educated guesses about the future based on what is going on in the world and some of them come true that were usually easy to guess too and most remain jokes.

It is true many of the Simpsons predictions have come true. I remember a time I saw an article about how more than 18 predictions made by the Simpsons have come true. It is certain we cannot write all these off as mere coincidence  but how they come about it, one cannot say.

They aren't even 'predictions' to start with. They just created thousands and thousands of skits concerning lots and lots of peoples and places and it's just the case that some events happen somewhat similarly to the skits they made.

Look, if it's the case that in a certain movie a meteor crashed into the antarctic sea and 5 years later it actually happened in real life, does it mean that the movie director "predicted" it?

Same goes with all these Bitcoin price predictors. They just make 100 predictions with $1000 difference and announce them from time to time. Or simply name a random number. But when the price reaches their number, they start saying "look, I was right" or "I told you".

Simpsons already have 700 episodes. That is thousands and thousands of life situations and no wonder some of them identical with real life situations.

The Simpsons is notorious for predicting some iconic scenes in history, though I think they're just playing when they placed that message on of the episodes. At this point, if they turn out to be correct (which I know they aren't), I'll be damn sure to pray to the Simpsons gods that are the writers and producers. With the anonymity Satoshi paired with his work, I doubt people would ever find the person/people behind the persona unless they themselves come forward and reveal themselves.
Well, the Simpsons respect people in a way so I don't think that they are going to delve deeper into satoshi's identity because that is an insensitive thing to do to be honest, prying on the privacy of the people and making them exposed without their consent. It has been ten years or so since satoshi has gone dark and the remaining trail to his/her identity is definitely going to be cold so I think that no one is going to be able to know who satoshi really is.

The predictions in the Simpsons are specific predictions instead of general obvious predictions that can apply to anything.

For example a general obvious prediction I can make now is by the year 3000 there will be flying cars. I'm 99% sure that I be right on this prediction or my prediction might happen earlier than the year 3000.

However Simpsons predictions are specific like for example where they will show a car manufacturer logo on a flying car shown in one of the episode where no car company has this logo today, the car company doesn't exist today but come year 3000 and people will see the exact same car logo on flying cars that was aired and shown in a Simpsons episode a 1000 years ago created by a future car company that we don't know about.

The mathematical probability of getting this prediction is like 1 in a zillion, negligible not considered aka impossible.

If you look at it at a mathematical point of view its near 0 chance impossible.

If you look at it a scientific point of view then it simply cannot be explained unless the future flying car company ceo watched 1000 year old simpsons episodes and decided to copyright the car logo from that episode which doesn't add up.

Having 1 or 2 coincidences is possible but having dozens of coincidences is questionable.

Most of the Simpsons' episode in streaming services are cropped so I think a lot wouldn't enjoy the subtle censorship that is in the streaming services, they don't need a comeback, they have been here for a long time and I don't think that this is the time that they are going to end.

Judging by past predictions and accurate fulfillments of these predictions, it is important that one does not write this particular one off because it might be true.
I, however, think if Satoshi doesn't want to reveal himself or themselves (if it's a group of people) then we shouldn't bother investigating. Let's just remain grateful for the invention of bitcoin.

Okay jokes and banter aside lets stick to this serious topic:

In mathematics there's this field called 'Theory of Probability'.

For me to randomly guess a random number between 1-10 and get it right 10 times in a row when I ask someone to think of a random number between 1-10 without telling me is like 1 in 1million I believe (someone check the math), which mathematicians call it near 0 chance aka impossible unless I'm some magician or something lol.

The Simpsons predicted so many things that came true and there predictions are like 1 in a million not like 1 in 10 and they got them right consistently which is impossible when looked at a mathematical view.

Nothing more than coincidence their past "predictions". Sure, there's been some pretty good likeliness when it comes to certain events, but we as people are pattern recognizing machines, and therefore we pick out what is familiar in a scene, and relate it back, but ignore much of what doesn't match up. Simpsons, has very likely made several other scenes which may have "predicted" something in another alternate timeline, but if the above post is correct about having predicted things 18 times (this is likely subjective too) compared with the amount of seasons that Simpsons has; which is around 32-35 seasons, with over 700 episodes in total, they've only have 18 scenes which show a likeness to real world events. Considering the creative freedom that a show like Simpsons has, its expected that they'll have these sort of "predictions". Especially, considering how broad some of these predictions are. For example, the horse meat "scandal" was something talked about before it was proven. The auto correct is something which is quite easy to think of. My point is, none of these were particularly outlandish. The equation on the board was probably the most impressive one. However, I wouldn't say most of these are particularly impressive when you consider 700 episodes total, much more scenes than that, and only "18" predicted scenarios. I do believe a few people compared Anthony Joshua VS Andy Ruiz to the scene in The Simpsons where Homer becomes a professional boxer too. Of course, its only so much alike, and not completely accurate down to every level, something which is often overlooked.

However, like I've mentioned there are some instances where its pretty crazy how they predicted it or lead to believe they have some sort of insider knowledge. The Higgs boson equation having being the most impressive. However, getting back on topic I don't think Matt Groaning, and his team actually have much insider knowledge at all, and they are now playing up to the fans by taking part in the "The Simpsons predicts things" movement. So, it goes without saying I don't think they know who Satoshi is, and I don't think it'll ever be revealed in their episodes. They have basically planted the seed in which if they do somehow make a prediction on who Satoshi is, then it will be trending everywhere, and everyone will want to watch The Simpsons from now on for fear of missing out. Although, if nothing happens, and they don't make the prediction it will simply be forgotten with no reputation loss, or viewership loss. Hence, its smart for producers to do this sort of thing.

As for other shows making "predictions" I expect Black Mirror to be one that predicts a lot of things in the future.
Yes, they shoot in all directions with hundreds of bullets, so it's normal they will hit some real things, although most of the shoots will be missed.
The Simpsons TV show works with subliminal message strategy. After an event happens in reality the fans start digging Simpsons' episodes to create a correlation between the event in real life and the TV show episode. Aware of it, Simpsons' directors added the message *we know who Satoshi is*, so if someday Satoshi's identity is revealed fans will find an *evidence* in this Simpsons' episode that will proove they predicted it before everyone else.

Maybe the creator of Simpson is just assuming that he knew who is the real Satoshi because even I can say who's Satoshi even if I really don't just to hype people.

World is full of coincidences, luck, and serendipity so it is not that certain that Simpsons can predict everything.

Don't stress yourself too much thinking about who is the real person behind the name Satoshi because that will not help you improve in the market effectively. The Simpson can predict some scenarios but not all the time so it is still a coincidence and full of uncertainty. 1.This is a joke.
2.Since when the Bitcoin price is impacted by what's being said in a TV show like "The Simpsons"?

"The Simpsons" had predicted the Trump presidency(which is a coincidence) and they predicted something like a virus pandemic, which was pretty much expected,a virus can be spread pretty easily in the modern globalized world.
What the creators of "The Simpsons" are doing is something like "we know who killed JFK,but we won't tell you" type of joke. Not funny at all.

Do you have a proof of that episode? I mean almost anything that came out of the Simpsons are either photoshopped to look like they predicted the future, not saying that they don't really predict the future but there has been a lot of manipulated images to make it look like it predicted something. Remember that the show is a satire so it might be making fun of the people that wants to know the identity of satoshi in the first place.

they've been doing that since time even the presidency of trump is often looked at like they predicted it. I think they just put some taste at the current trend and the way they predict some things in the future is not really important because they might have just accidentally put it that way without any means of predicting things. I mean they were just going with the flow with their show and some people just out of the universe when seeing things through that show. Come on guys there's no way those shows will tell us who the real Satoshi Nakamoto is. If this news will spread out they will break some record of their show cause millions of people will try to watch in the next episode to know more about these so-called predictions.

I (myself) have a high profile for being Satoshi Nakamoto since I am a computer scientist and OOP programmer and did file a patent in the UK in 2007 related to 'digital cash money' that shows some insight into the future and inception of bitcoin.

Also, my Paypal account handle is: 'mymondex' which relates to a Mastercard technology (back in 2007) along ideas of a New World Order.

I'm not Satoshi, though.

they've been doing that since time even the presidency of trump is often looked at like they predicted it. It's a show more like a family guy full of dark humor and exaggerations. this isn't going to end up as a conspiracy theory thread. i hope not. but yes if they know then let's just wait for another episode about it maybe they will reveal it later but proving someone is satoshi will be another story.

Why would the creators and producers of the show write that last sentence lol.

Why wouldn't they? In a sitcom such as the The Simpsons, they can write about anything, as in anything, sky's the limit, from sarcasm to political criticism to below-the-belt jokes and so on.

Quote
So many things Simpsons has predicted in the past that has come true which is strange or a bunch of coincidences that matches the same mathematical probability of impossible  Grin

In this scene they not predicting, they claim they know  Shocked

Seriously, did you do the arithmetic? They've been on air for decades with hundreds and hundreds of episodes. It is not really unimaginable that certain portions of some of their stories have somehow coincidentally predicted what's to happen in the future.

But credit goes to the show's writers over the years. They seem to be well-informed and up-to-date that they often come up with relevant satires in their stories.

You have to remember to take every "predictions" the Simpsons makes with a grain of salt. Not all the times do they get things right, and upon my close observation, these predictions so to speak are nothing short of people just trying their hardest to connect two inconsequential things to one another. So yeah, they may or may not know who Satoshi is. They may or may haven't aired this episode with the thought of tipping off who Satoshi is or at least what he's up to. Everything is a big guess game.

Why would the creators and producers of the show write that last sentence lol.
Because The Simpsons in it's entirety is a comedy show and they make such banters all the time.

Tinfoil hat and conspiracy theories aside, ok let's assume they actually predicted a lot of stuff. Does it mean that literally everything they put in the show is 100% true and or is going to happen? Nope.

Exactly, we have seen the producers or at least someone from behind to really have some predictions that really happened and that's why we love this show.

However, it's probably coincidence or just the writer is a visionary. LOL. But I doubt that they know who Satoshi is, but still another good publicity for us, for Bitcoin as The Simpsons is one of the most watch shows in the US and other territories.
