I reckon the best strategy for those types of tipsters would be to bet on the opposite side of their tips and post something in their social media accounts saying no 30% cut for you hehehe.

Can anyone share those tipsters' social media accounts? Thank you.

That's how affiliate links works right? or am I missing something ?  Long time ago I remember a casino that pays out their affiliates through losses of other players I forgot what the casino is called though. I only remember it because someone  here made a post about his account having no affiliate payment together with picture that has a negative affiliate balance.

Thanks for sharing the blog. I didn't know about the site Casual Gambler, it reminds me of the thread made by SyGambler where he reviews different tipster.

Chris Meredith reviews tipsters for the website the Casual Gambler. He estimates around half of online tipsters are affiliated with a betting company.

This means that when tipsters post their tips on social media they include a link to the betting company's site. What is rarely made clear is that the tipster has a financial arrangement with that betting company, one which means the tipster either receives a fixed sum for every person who creates an account with the firm, or more popularly, take a cut of around 30% of the punter's losses.

So it looks like bookies know who will win
It could be also nice opportunity
If you know fake tipster like that you can lay his tips on exchange

This news is as old as 2005 but after social media was introduced a few after 2005 it soon become a hit there. In every sport betting reviews, tipping, news site you see ads all over the place from Bet365, Paddypower etc.
