Comet Ison did not crash into the sun, nor broke apart. You viewed coming outta intact one the other side.
Was it delayed /slowed or did a glitch with the cameras make it seem like that ?

I have updated the OP with Secchi's link and the orbital diagram now shows the positions of STEREO A and B.
That or it will alter its trajectory and head straight for Venus and/or us.
