If you don't actually care about Bitcoin price, how would you multiply your bitcoins? Which Altcoin could be relevant to invest in - remember the price increase in satoshi is a goal not in $ ? Maybe some heads here have another idea, I would appreciate all help. Please Don't think in a way that of course, everybody wants to do this - but actually not ,  everybody wants to earn money-FIAT but I would rather multiply bitcoins and just keep them:) I'm interested in your strategy guys !!
I try to multiply my bitcoin through altcoin because that is the fast way rather than keep your bitcoin to double its value. I made around 40 bitcoin in this year from some project that already traded above the ico price after ico.

They only way is thru diversification if you do really like to multiply your bitcoins. If you do tend to hold up for long term then its possible but it would really takes time and for sure not all people do really have the patience to keep their coin on idle state. You can possibly increase your holdings just like trading on alts on which most people are suggesting the same thing.

the guy who told you to buy ethereum to multiply your bitcoin amount told you a horrible idea. Ethereum went to 0,15 btc last july (it was its ath in btc) but now it is below 0.05 btc each ethereum, that is insane, dont even think about it because if it happened before, it can happen again and i am pretty sure that ethereum will be freezed below $300 each one for a long time, so dont invest your money and efforst in there.
Dont invest in altcoins, only in bitcoin ,that is the most profitable thing you can do.

I don't think satoshi was interested in multiplying bitcoins or having lots of bitcoin. It is possible through mining as well, you don't exchange usd for btc, but mining is costly for sure.

Unless I am mistaken, this indeed was the goal of almost all alt traders, since we all buy and sell in BTC. It was only recently that I realized I would not be suffering the way I am now if I had traded in FIAT (something like USDT perhaps) instead of Bitcoin. At one way, I have lost a small amount of US dollars, when converting my BTC value of alts. But in reality I have lost 40-50% of Bitcoins thanks to alts dropping and Bitcoin rising.

Remember, nothing is realized until you actually convert it back to money or coin in your own wallet!

Yeah, that's why I don't get why people only care if the $ value of a alt coin increases instead of the satoshi amount. Even if the satoshi amount drops the $ value of an alt coin could still technically be equal or higher since the value of bitcoin raised.

True point.

The best and really only way to do this is to learn TA, it's not always for sure - and many think it's a sham.. but it can and does work for some people.

Sell high, buy more lower.

IE, ya should probably sell now, we will see 5k BTC within a month or less.

I would buy LSK

This sounds an original thoght. Most think of the increase of fiat versus crypto but increasing crypto versus crypto is more realistic.

There's a lot of set of alt coins that you can choose from, you can look at the coinmarketcap.com and see for yourself what are the alt coins that are on the top list.

You can buy those alt coins that are on the top10 or top 20 but don't focus with those coins because others are just new and you can still look for those coins that are undervalued.

And if I were you, if you have some bitcoins use them for holding and some part of it will be in alt coin trading.

Investing in certain altcoins can be a way to increase your BTC. Ethereum is an (extreme) example; was worth around 0,002BTC in january 2016 but increased to 0,15BTC past june. However, the altcoin market is a very treacherous area and chances are your BTC gets decimated in a very short timespan. Caution is advised when making moves with altcoins! A slower but safer way is doing paid work for BTC; there are several sites around where you can offer your skills. Can't name these sites from the top of my head.
