Will it even start? Is there even an altcoin season? Or are shitcoins these days rising and falling independently and in cacophony? Have you really been here since 2014? If yes, surely you noticed how the market has changed a lot? Or perhaps you've been here since 2019 only?

I can still remember those good old days of Antshares, Waves, Stratis, Monaco, Ethereum Classic, and others. They used to fly together during the so-called alt season. Or was that simply like a phenomenon instead of a season?

Doge will rise and fall on its own. That OG altcoin doesn't depend on seasons.
I can't guarantee you because this is the future but I don't see anything changing, everything is still the same, only the crowd mentality is always evolving and doubting. Not only you, many people are also becoming skeptical that the altcoin season will not happen, many people are selling their last altcoins. But for me, it hasn't even started yet and I predict that we're going to enter the bull season that everyone is expecting, which is when many altcoins go up 5x, 10x.

BTC.D is pretty high and showing no signs of a reversal so I'm not surprised altcoin ss hasn't happened yet. But when it hit the 64% zone, I believe there will be a strong correction and we will enter the expected bull season.

I agree with you that the altcoin market is fragmented because there are too many projects being created and it looks very messy . Of course, not all altcoins can grow, some don't but most will grow when the altcoin season comes . Let's wait and see what happens in 2025 .

Altcoin season hasn't even started yet so it wouldn't be right to say that investing in altcoins or OG memes like doge or shiba won't yield better returns. In any bull market, Bitcoin always leads the way and always hits ATH before the altcoin season comes.

I remember many people saying that memes were dead and gone but look at them, they are still alive and even thriving these days. Even memes like Doge have become part of the culture of the cryptocurrency market. I'm not saying that investing in bitcoin isn't profitable, but we shouldn't deny the potential of Doge or some memes in the market. I believe Doge is safer than many of the top alts today so having doge in your portfolio is not a bad thing.
As long as OP stays away from new memes or memes on DEX, investing only in legendary memes like Doge, Shiba or Pepe will yield good returns.

Imo alt season would begin when ETH, retraces to 2900,3100 region from my analysis. And yes there'll be alt season. Btw, some alts have done X5 since all time low. And also I don't think OP wouldn't profit much from shiba, doge that have billions in mcap. My suggestions should be from he could checkout exchange that lists good memes quickly and dive in. Those platforms now have high influx of traders etc
.
Some even trade memecoins in futures market aahah.

I would not bother wasting my time with that member (fuguebtc). You are replying to an account farmer using many accounts for the sake of signature spamming and he has literally no interest in what you or anybody else is posting as long they continue to post in order to meet their quota. The fact the Stake campaign manager is hiring too many of the lowest quality posters it raises the questions that posted in the past about some of those tagged accounts possibly being operated by himself.

The OG Memes interacts differently from Altcoin Season. In addition to the price of bitcoin, news about a musk or Trump may lead to pumping liquidity, so many believe that it may be a good investment even if Altcoin Season does not start, but in fact it is the sale season for those who buy these currencies at a low price.

Greed is the worst thing that can happen to you at this stage, try to think in an investment way away from emotions and set goals that can be achieved in the short term. For example, Bitcoin has levels of 120k or 140k and memecoins have levels of increase of 20% to 50% of the current prices,
Greed can make investors fail. Included within that possible greed apart from the initial pump and dump of any new memecoin launch has to be the notion of short terms gains. After the initial post-launch high price it will be very difficult for investors to make any profit whereas there are increased chances of capitalising with Bitcoin as we have seen with the recent price.

recover your capital and sell those assets in full once you achieve good profits.
If that times comes for any investor, they have to draw a line after reaching their goal and should consider selling with the intention of re-investing later when the market declines.

Be careful with meme coins. A year or two from now many of them will die or are dying. New ones will sprout but they too will be short-lived. The OG meme coin, Doge, might remain for a while, but it doesn't mean it's giving you profit. Bitcoin has far surpassed its 2021 ATH already but even the top meme coins like Doge and Shiba Inu have yet to reach halfway toward their 2021 ATHs. That means Bitcoin remains more profitable to hodl.

A rising trading volume doesn't necessarily signify a bullish market. It could also signify a huge dump.

Do not be fooled by trading volume that much, especially that measured in USDT or USD. The only trading volume that seems more accurate is one that is measured in terms of the coin being traded, such as BTC, ETH or BNB

For example, if last week BTC was worth $50,000 and 10,000 Bitcoins were traded over a period of time, the trading volume would be 500,000,000 USDT. Now if Bitcoin's price jumps to $100,000 and still 10,000 Bitcoins were traded today. This means trading volume will now be 1,000,000,000 USDT. Do you now see how it looks exaggerated? People may think the trading volume has double, but in actual sense it hasn't.

I think you are mixing up market cap with trading volume. Trading volume indicates liquidity of a currency but doesn't cause your portfolio to grow, when the price grows it's indicated in the market cap.

for those who have seen the bull runs, how high have you seen trading volumes go?
This is the ATH range so other parameters will also be among the highest ranges too.

With BTC being bullish and other alt and memecoins following I'm just amazed. It's probably because I haven't witnessed a bull run since I started trading and all I've heard are stories but this...this is really massive. My portfolio has really expanded and grown in just a few days and funny enough most of the growth is in memecoins. On exchanges I'm seeing the trading volume of alts reaching greater heights than I've ever seen before and it's just amusing me still, for those who have seen the bull runs, how high have you seen trading volumes go?
