Have China and the US signed first commercial transaction on the blockchain
Chinese company Shandong Bohi Industry first used the blockchain platform Easy Trading Connect (ETC) for the sale of the cargo of soy beans to American agribusiness Louis Dreyfus. Reported by Business Insider.
The transaction also participated banks ING, Societe Generale and ABN Amro. The supply of soybeans from the U.S. to China was "the first complete commercial transaction in the field of agriculture that use the blockchain-a platform".
It should be noted that the platform ETC greatly simplifies and speeds up trading operations. In particular, it digitizes documents, such as contracts of sale, letters of credit, and reduces the need for legal support of the transaction. According to the team, the technology has increased the speed of the transaction carried out five times.
