This dump on BTC price always happened every year IIRC. I don't know if it's just a coincidence or something since BTC always pump during BER months. I believe the timing of this Black Friday sale is synchronize on the correction BTC. I'm waiting on this correction since last week and this correction really needs for Bitcoin to stay healthy. This dump really a Black Friday sale indeed.

So we are in Black Friday, and just what, we have the biggest and ultimate sale of all time.

Bitcoin going down to $17k, so what are we waiting for? Time to get back and buy cheap bitcoin as this might not last. 10% discount in the last 24 hours.  Grin

Cheap compared to yesterday, expensive compared to last month. Tongue

You confident $16.2K is the lowest we'll see? That's only a ~17% drop from the top. Given the magnitude of the rally since March this year, we should probably be open to corrections as large as 40%+, especially since that was typical of the market in 2016 and 2017.

If the market doesn't recover into the $18K+ trading range soon, I expect the bleeding to continue.

Yeah, but Black Friday discounts are usually in the range of 30-90%.
Do you expect the Bitcoin price to go down by 30-90%? Undecided
A 10% price drop is nothing for a volatile asset like Bitcoin.
Those traders, who buy "cheap" Bitcoins right now might suffer losses from a new price correction or an upcoming bear market.Nothing is certain and nothing can be predicted, when it comes to Bitcoin.

I think the same. We can call it a 10-15% sale as ATH is near. However, it may go down but ATH will be in Q1 2021.

The drop actually started yesterday and today, Friday it continued to drop. ATH many not be near again like many thought this year will come a new ATH. The bear time is to wait to get in again. This is like a normal up and down movement.

Altcoins are the only sale because BTC still is $16k. The price of most altcoin still is more than what it was back then but its a good price to buy

Most of the time, for altcoins, it makes more sense to consider the price as it relates to BTC price, rather than to US dollar.
When bitcoin moves up, it drags the whole market with it (often with a bit of a lag). When the dollar value of an altcoin changes because of what bitcoin is doing, then look at the alt compared to BTC. The dollar increase considered by itself is almost immaterial as it gives little sense of the 'worth' of the coin or the project.

So we are in Black Friday, and just what, we have the biggest and ultimate sale of all time.

Be careful, we have Cyber Monday on the 30th and Green Monday on December 14th, not to mention Panic Saturday on the 19th, if all those come with such an offer we might match March prices.
But anyhow, this is a shitty sale, I mean, it's worse than Walmart and Tesco, you jack up prices by 200% a week before and then offer a 20% discount? Really disappointed, I've been a customer for years and that's all I can get? Lol!!!

Altcoins are the only sale because BTC still is $16k. The price of most altcoin still is more than what it was back then but its a good price to buy at least. Bullrun will make its price more valuable and you might not have the chance to buy XLM for $0.18. If you are like me who can only afford $100 to invest, pick an altcoin that just moon to more than 100% recently. XLM is a good candidate apart from XRP.

a few days ago the news about Bitcoin would make a new ATM very heavily in the news...
The end of December or Q1 2021 will probably be the time Bitcoin makes a new ATH or crosses $ 20k. Bitcoin is currently priced at $ 16.7k, a good opportunity to buy.

I have the same feeling, as soon as I see FOMO in the media and greed index goes off scale I smell some rektage for bulls imminent. Nothing can change human psychology even though it happens over and over again.
IMO the sale isn't over yet, there will some more bargains.

It seems to be like a black friday sale, until it drops further lol. I almost always get really skeptical when people on Reddit, Twitter, and Bitcointalk are overly bullish. Though of course, the dollar-cost averaging continues regardless.

Yes, today is a prime example of Black Friday. For everyone who did not have time to buy, there is still the opportunity to buy bitcoin. I believe Kiyosaki's predictions that he will rise to record levels in the next three years. He also advises buying bitcoin these days, since we are waiting for, according to him, "great times" and it is necessary not to miss these times, and become a participant in the big rally. Smiley

While the bulls (and myself) will tell loudly: "buy the dip!", the bears may remind you that Bitcoin just had a 3 years long "dip".
So whoever reads this, use your brain and invest or not based on your own decisions, no matter what me or others say.
Feelings, FOMO and such should not be there when one decides to buy (or sell!).
