Don't ever quit. But as we always learning in this field, it's not wrong if we step back for a while and contemplate our mistakes. Sometimes we need a break, and when it's too exhausting and too crowded in our head, it's okay to take our time cause we'll make more mistakes when we make a decision in our worse condition. I frequently experience burnout because of trading, and all of this roller coaster bitcoin ride. I won't quit even I know it sometimes hurts when we failed, but I take my time and come back stronger. When it's a bear time like this, I usually don't check my assets too frequently cause it just makes me more frustrated.

When you gain more experience then you'll surely earn profit. As what the other said, don't quit if that's what you wanted and always reevaluate everything you do. Every successful business owners felt the urge to quit and failures. It is much like learning to play sports and lose when you're not good enough until you become an expert about it much like in this one though it involves funds. Positive mindset is also a good sign of not quitting.

Why will you quit if you are on the right track if you have done diligence on your goal and you have found a way to succeed,  quitting is not going to be an option,  trading is hard to learn and get involved with, I have dipped on it and it's not my cup of tea, just enjoy your journey if trading is your calling we all have a path to thread in our journey to success.

I know someone who used part of his school fees to learn how to trade, when the time for payment drew nigh and the was no hope of recovering the money, he had to discuss his ordeal with friends and siblings so they'll help borrow him some money which he promised to payback when he had eventually started trading....

The money was huge and non of them seemed to have had such in their possession at the time...
Luck found him as the school extended the deadline date for the fees.
He's done learning and had long time started trading and is doing beautifully well.
I keep saying it, quitting is never an option for something you had made up your mind to embrace, its better not to start at all than to start and decide to quit along the run.

If you perfectly learn how to trade the sky will be your limit. No knowledge is a waste.
The majority that has learnt how to trade on crypto are resigning from their jobs the moment they become an expert on trading cos the turn-ups(profits) from crypto trading does pay them massively compare to the jobs.
Trading is not something to dive into without a proper understanding of how volatile the market is. It takes months for someone to master crypto trading. Trading takes much time, so are you ready to give in your best in it? cos each moment you gat to be monitoring the prices of coins on a regular to know which coin will be on the high side in some hours that will be worth investing into

hi masplanc,
the structure and quality of the given example  of yours is great but mostly the topic is good !
But let me ask you something? Dont we have all have different difficulties and hardships to come through?in my opinion Youre most likely to succeed in the thing you shared with us with that determination. For some its urge to quit figting cancer and for other its urge to be on the brink of quitting trading.Difficulties in life are beaten with the power of human determinaton. Big ups with the good spirit!

Your words make lot of sense. I can feel it. I have a secret, I locked mine away from me. You'll have to money, contribute that some potential and don't take a look at your crypto accounts for next one year. This can regard far less risky then daily trading. Honestly what I’m gonna have to do, otherwise less trading experience drives our balance into nuts.

We learn so we can earn and no true success came on a platter of gold everyone has a story on how the got to their various level of achievement and they will also tell you number of sleepless nights they had while trying to get to where they are today. I understand the stress what we gotten if we are starting to lose our money in quick instance but we shouldn't quit easily just for this remember failure is normal especially when we are new and just testing the waters. Best to learn from this past experiences so that we can get a learnings from our losses.

Better now we should focus again and don't speed up things since if we take all things slow we will learn more than doing a shortcuts.

is good that you understand the possibility in consistency. Every stages in life has it's  own different Sacrifice. No one is the same. Sometimes you have to lost in other to gain. This are the things that builds you. You learn from the mistakes. Try not to lose again. The only person that can give you the exact life that you desire is yourself. Nobody else will take those risk for you. Everything is possible as long as you keep trying. This are words we hear everyday from motivational speakers. But the reality in it is hard to keep. Just be sincere to yourself. Be sure within yourself that you have taken a step. And don't just take one step, keep walking. I live you with the greatest  word my Dad told me. Whatever it is, always do things rightly. Am new here too.

We all growing together.

That's right, good motivation is not only for the OP, but also for yourself. Do not give up at the first failure. Losing something and making mistakes makes us stronger.
OP, if you are aiming for success, then it will come, the main thing is patience. Do not take unnecessary risks, especially when selling those things that are important to you. Risk, of course, is a noble cause, but reason must always go ahead.
Learn more about trading, walk in small steps, thereby you will get an experience that does not come immediately.

What exactly aren't you going to quit the forum or Trading? I think they are two different things, the forum is here to make you more knowledge enrich about crypto-currency and more while Trading is a real field of work where you have to show the prove of your knowledge.
Although I have been learnt so much about trading am very patient with it and taking my time, crypto-currency Haas been the reason so many has left crypto-currency Early because they failed or got scammed in trading it

After all the sacrifices, all the experiences that you've got, quitting should be your last option, or probably shouldn't be on your options. If you can(we know you can), try to maximize everything that you hvave right now.

It nice you are fully aware that every champion has once felt the urge to quit previously before they make it to the top but my advise to you is that you need to have some kind of love and passion for crypto currency and blockchain which i believe will strengthen you and make you thirsty for more knowledge but you also need to diversify your knowledge though.

There are those though that should learn when to quit. One thing is to be perseverant on matters where your main capital is your time, and another is when your capital is your savings (or worst still, loans). Many people have quit trading after trying it for a while (see https://cointelegraph.com/news/day-trading-bitcoin-why-95-of-traders-lose-money-and-fail), and it’s probably best for them to have quit and not persevered into the backhole.

It’s going to dependend on many factors, but whilst persevering will have showcases that shine, it seems that it will have a ton more that don’t. It just depends on where you eventually land.

Always think that being successful in trading will not take in just 1 night or 1 week.
Trading is survival, the longer you are in the game, the more profit you make. That's why a lot of traders keep suggesting that you should have risk management, never be greedy, or putting your all account balance in just 1 - 2 trade positions.
Capital preservation is the key to survival in trading.

It all started when I decided to learn about how to trade. things was very hard with me, I had to sell few of my property to enroll for trading class. I was fortunate enough to enroll with half payment. Things was very tough for me but I had this in mind that tough time don't last forever. Well the journey wasn't easy but I kept moving , I never quit . Even after joining this great forum I still know that getting to the top would take time, patient and hardwork .

I am not good at trading maybe you can inspire me I just don't have the mind and heart of a trader who can take losses and can do precise calculation and right timing, how long did it take for you to arrive at your status and what are the stumbling blocks, maybe one day when you are well experienced you can create a thread and share your experiences, your profit and losses as well too.

Aren't there enough free courses in Youtube? When I was beginning in day trading, I had few tutorials that I watched in Youtube and it at least prepared me to the basics of day trading for free.
Don't panic sell your properties if you're not doing enough in your trades.

As what jackg mentioned, you'll need reevaluation on where you went wrong because it seems like you really have the spirit to still push through.

No matter how tough your chosen way of making profits in crypto is, never ever quit. It is better to take on the risk than to fear all your life that you might just end up with nothing. There are a lot of people who doesn't have the opportunity we have, just imagine that. Not everyone is blessed with the chance of knowing crypto and knowing ways on how to make money in crypto. If you ever have the urge of quitting, always remember why you even started. To avoid having such thoughts, try looking at the brighter side on every investment and trading you make, just make sure that you carefully analyzed each of it.

Don't quit if you think that you'll be able to overcome the hardship of what you're going through in this market. If you have already done a lot of things and sacrificed a lot, you only have to look forward and learn the mistakes that you've ever committed in gaining knowledge how to trade. Honestly, trading isn't for everyone but if you're going that far and you really are eager to learn about it. You did the shortcut of taking class but there's no such as shortcut in learning how to trade because you need to gain experience. And with what motivates you right now, there's no sense to quit if you've invested that much already and I guess you've learned a lot already.

This is what you called perseverance. You risk some of your property just to enroll on a trading lesson and that's one thing a risk taker will ever decide in his life. Salute to you mate, not everyone have that courage and engagement to even sell soemthing valuable to learn on a trading.

I remember when CZ says he sold his house for Bitcoin or crypto then that's something shocking isn't it? Now where he is. Never quit, but learn to accept mistake if you ever encounter one.

I think you are having a hard time with trading but again you don't need to push yourself it's better every step you made there's a lesson learned and improvement, not all the time you need to pursue its better to take a break and think about it, there is a lot of traders makes a FOMO and this might not help them towards to their loss of trades. If you do not think trading is suitable for you why not try to hold or spot trading this is much safer than your expectations but the market is volatile still good to be conscious to your assets but unlike in trading futures you don't need to watch every time the market.

I guess I'm old enough to say that quitting is not always failing. Don't be afraid to quit. Sometimes, quitters are winners. Losers continue to stubbornly stick to what has been proven again and again as risky, unpredictable, unprofitable, and so on.

I used to study day trading as well, although I did not enroll in a formal trading class. I started following calls, making orders, setting price targets, and so on. Weeks turn to months to years. I was losing. I might have failed to study charting, technical analysis, and so on more deeply but what was a fact was that I was losing. I was thinking it was wiser to just HODL. Today, I can say with conviction that the day I quit forcing myself to make profit from trading was the day I made the right decision.

I used to collect seemingly promising altcoins as well, those ones which I believed would have a brighter future. I used to join ICOs, too. I used to wait for many projects to release their products and hit high demand for their respective tokens in the market. I quit from all these and saw especially years later that I was right.

They said the hardest part is when you are in the middle then if you feel that you are really struggling, persevere until you finish your goal. Don't just quit, imagine where you are before if you quit now you will be back again to your current situation before.

Remember, you wished/hope that you will be finished the classes after selling some properties.

Perseverance is much important when you want to achieve something in your life, I never advice you to take such risk of doing trades with the money you left and there is no other source of income but if you feel that is the only way then prepare yourself to face anything and everything.

On your way to greatness, its only normal that you face a lot of huddles. Huddles so though that, it takes not just the string but the determined and those with a purpose to scale through. This is why we don't have so many great people today, ah mean, there could be a lot of names you can mention but they are still one out of many. The good thing is, that one solves the problem of the multitude.

So, you don't give up, never! When your faced with a challenge that is so tough and it seems to be above your strength and endurance,  you only have to try ones more, try  ones more again and try ones more and you would archive that which you seek. Keep being g motivated.

I'll never quit

I remember reading once that it takes 10,000 hours of practice to really master a skill and think there is some truth to it. The exact amount of time doesn't really matter, but it's more about the long process and repeated application that it takes to learn something. That being said, in order to devote that much time of your life to a project or idea, it is important that you really enjoy it in the first place. It is also key that you're able to identify if you're just not going to make it and stop wasting any more time on it. There is no shame in admitting you're one of the 99.9% of people who cannot beat the odds.

It is definitely a personal decision, but you should not be afraid to give up part way through and stop pouring in money if you aren't starting to see a decent return. I've been to a professional conference hosted by some elite ex-bank stock market traders a couple years ago and even they will tell you day trading is for fools, they look for ideas that might turn around to make profit in 3 months time. While you might be able to find little niches, or even make money for short periods in lesser known markets, eventually high speed automated trading bots will take any perceivable profit available. Always remember that trading is a fast paced game and it is always evolving, what you're learning today might not be true tomorrow.

Don't quit but ensure you REEVALUATE everything.

If you're learning to trade, don't do it with an amount you value so much you'll keep checking it.

If you trade with 10%, it can still become 100% within 100 trades and from there you're just making profit on top of that... (Only 10% once you know what you're doing, you should start with even lower than that).

Also I'm not sure how much training can do for you, as long as they're able to teach fundamentals then they're probably alright but remember to use their strategies and training as inspiration for your own as markets change pace fast... And once enough people are trading a certain strategy, it no longer works.
