Well, I think we all need reconciliation in all the particular matters and let the Taliban be recognized and let them work for the betterment of Afghanistan and the rest of the world. We should stop looking into the past and just focus on the present in order to have a good future. Yes, I do believe that we need to support people but we must give a chance to everyone as well.

The taliban are ready to work with and recognize the next taliban led government that has seized power in afghanistan, the taliban will protect the basic rights of its people and specifically women and adolescents and will not harbor terrorists who could be attacked by the united states. It is a matter of respecting the fundamental rights of the people and severing all ties with terrorists. The united states and the international community will support the people not the taliban.

Unfortunately, the people aren't smart enough to request help in the ways that work, like the Taliban did.

Oh no, what a bummer.

Thank you Joe Biden for your incompetance. You have a long way until you beat bush on committing war crimes but we need not to worry, Biden is off to a great start!

I was watching a news report that said the State department (or some other agency) was disputing the initial NYT report that said the targets were innocent civilians, stating their intel was correct.

That was just a lie.

The US and the international community should support the People, not Taliban

If the United States or the international community announces an aid program in Afghanistan, that aid should go directly to the people of Afghanistan, not the Taliban. If the Taliban are given aid, they can use it for subversive activities. The Taliban have not come to power legally in Afghanistan through elections, so it can never be expected that the Taliban will deliver this aid to the people.
