That's where they should be taxing the cryptocurrency, not the capital and unrealized profit. Global warming is what they use right now to stop BTC which the articles coming out was that it wasted more energy than a whole country.

Seeing the situation from a distance Bitcoin users are not really a threat to them but to the fiat system that's ineffecient.

Im thinking, why are they only thinking of this now?
they are about 12 years too late.

I kind of understand that government authorities want to have as many "threats" covered.
Its obvious that the easiest way to control the use of Bitcoin is at its entry and exit
points, the loints of crossing between FIAT and Bitcoin.

If I were the US government I would be more worried about a revolt of the poor rather than a revolt of the bitcoiners ! Bitcoiners are gaming the system, but they're still part of the system. They still want to be rich, they want the American dream. Poor people unable to get Bitcoins at current prices, and with no hope, these could rebel.

Bitcoin is the financial form every democracy dreams of. Now that this is happening those in power will try their best to oppose it.

BTC is not breaking the law, it is obeying the people by providing them with the financial freedom never seen before. Everybody should have the right to choose which assets they want to hold.

bitcoin does not fight with anyone, it is financial air, so it flows alone ... users are like the wind power that take advantage of this air to generate  thought/ideas that is transformed into action.

Here there is no rebellion, there is a financial revolution, it is not about breaking the law, it is about breaking paradigms, I do not use bitcoin to break the law, it is my right to decide on my assets.

They have very vivid imagination and someone could even make science fiction movie from their fantasies, only missing part from this text is evil open source code, Russians and grey aliens.  

According to this document, 2025 is the year when this Zbellion group should gain traction in DarkWeb, use Bitcoin and start with untraceable cyber attacks, whatever that means.

Converting national currencies to Bitcoin would leave some trails and this scenario is almost impossible if we know that Bitcoin is public ledger and there are many kyc aml regulations that would prevent this.

I would not have much trust in Forbes, a good friend that I have in the USA says that 99% of the news published in 'shady' news sites as Forbes is false.

On the other hand, here we are, life goes on in crypto. So whatever their government is planning towards crypto, we will just wait and see. In the meantime, take advantage of whatever opportunity you can get from this market. It is never too late for anything here. Just a matter of planning and tactics you want to exercise. And don't regret anymore what you should have done while the market is still down.

The Pentagon does war-games

The Pentagon does games on all scenarios, be they 'zombies', they're training excercises; Just like in Israel they game all possible scenarios, and have strategy on the books, & ready to be pulled out of that scenario becomes real.

Bitcoin has fulfilled its intended purpose it has a means to prevent excess cash from moving into gold. Once crypto's in general are seen as 'failed' and big money moves into physical "In your hand Gold", then we will see the GOV panic, I don't see that happening as there is no GOLD in the USA. While in ASIA there are gold-shops on every corner and everybody has gold, hell even CHINA GOV advises their own people to BUY-GOLD. Physical, in your hands.

The US-DOLLAR is the ultimate ponzi, and the USA collapsed in the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, 2000, and 2008. Today they send 'stimmy-checks' to keep people fed, and they have locked-down the world to prevent protesting.

IMHO its already too late for the USA, it began as a Penal-Colony, and it has already reverted to a penal colony.

BITCOIN is 'virtual shit', its not real; All the so called wealth could evaporate over-night, just like Weimar Germany, all the paper-money can become worthless over-night.

The US-MIL only fears its own GOV, just like everybody else. The US-MIL, the Cops, only care about their coming retirement checks ( stimmys ), they care about nothing else. Once the MIL retirement checks stop, then the entire system implodes. Nada nothing to do with BITCOIN, or any other shit-coin.

When you can't gain control over something powerful, your best course of action is to try to gain control over what makes that something powerful. In the case of Bitcoin, no one, not even any government, can regulate it directly. So, they go after the people who believe in its value. Fearmongering is the solution that they think makes the most sense. Or maybe, a media agency who's desperate to write a story that will sell is the one pulling the string. Or maybe, someone's jealous of those who kept their BTC from day one. Either way, it seems Bitcoin is being dragged into a conspiracy again. Hope it goes away.

The president of the states has already dealt his first and rather tangible, albeit indirect blow with the announcement of the idea of ​​raising taxes - which provoked a sale. Every government thinks the same it is not exactly USA only those countries that have allowed Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies also believe the same. The only difference is that they also understand its potential and how it could benefit their citizens.

These articles are reported always from secret documents but, are published in public forum. They are meant to scare the community in general.

While the youth is indeed very socially active and change-oriented, it doesn't mean that the majority of young people are anarchists who try to destroy the world... It's unfair to talk about Bitcoin adoption in context of robberies and blame young people for it. Moreover, George Floyd protesters aren't zoomers, most Bitcoin users probably aren't zoomers either. On the contrary, Greta Thunberg protests are very non-violent, demanding action from the established institutions rather than encouraging to destroy them. So I think this is a big overstatement from the Department of Defense here, mixing different things in one bowl.

Old folks in the government, as always, are afraid of everything new and are ready to break everything, instead of adapting. Everything as usual.

The article itself from Forbes doesn't give much description to what the war games is actually is but they are more pointing out to the idea on how this "Zbellion" group can be stopped to funding organizations that are against the US government but since they are doing Bitcoin transactions the authorities doesn't have any power to freeze fundings happening through the Bitcoin network unlike their power to freeze bank transactions or anything that involves another business doing the transaction. With regards to Bitcoin having legal trouble in the US the article didn't mention or hinted any kind of legal action being done by the government so I think they are just focusing on how they will stop this group rather than the whole crypt industry.
