The use of cryptocurrency ATM is becoming common in almost all big airports in the world and I think this is going to increase the mass adoption of cryptocurrency as a payment processor.

People complain about the high fees but these ATMs are needed to get some easy coins. The KYC at some places is really off putting, ATMs are simple and convenient

Yes, this is very good news for cryptography. With ATMs we will be much easier and more convenient. And I think ATMs will be installed soon every day and in all countries.

Definitely, this is really a good news for crypto users, it is slowly nearing to a new era a lot of people's are creating FUD in this forum to change the interest of the public by posting some silly stuff like crypto will die, BTC will go to 1$ bla..bla... If BTC skyrocket again more than $20k again then they will say it as a Scam, we cannot change their dirty thoughts those who have faith are still waiting patiently.

B...bu....but many people are saying bitcoin is dead  Huh

Lol. You just need to go around the forum and see some members spreading lots of FUD just because the price went from almost $20K to sub $4K. And they those shill preach us with all the whole bubble argument and then bitching around that Bitcoin is dying or it's dead, but the irony is that they still stay in this community and probably buying bitcoins from behind. Lmao. Regarding ATM's though, I'm sure that it will also grow in the future, it has cons (safety and security) and pros (high withdrawal fees), so its really up to us whether we want to used it or not.

A week or two back, a cryptocurrency ATM that you were supposed to sing happy birthday to was used as a publicity tool to promote the tenth birthday of Bitcoin. But aside from the land of gimmicks, the number of genuine cryptocurrency ATMs has continued to creep upwards. So much so that another milestone is about to be reached.

CoinATMRadar is a site that keeps track of where the world’s cryptocurrency ATMs can be found, and it’s revealed that there are – at the time of this report being written – 3961 crypto ATMs in use around the planet. 40 producers run them across 75 countries, and nearly half of that number have been installed in this calendar year. The site reckons that around six new crypto ATMs come into use every day, with over half of them located in the USA.

By those calculations, the world should see cryptocurrency ATM number 4000 by the end of this month, with another 200 or so added in December.

On top of that, there are a further 2431 fiat ATMs that support some kind of altcoin as well.

As you might expect, Bitcoin remains the dominant coin across the world’s crypto ATMs, supported in some 99.9% of the installed machines. Litcoin and Ether are in second and third, but both some way back.https://cryptonewsreview.com/the-world-is-about-to-get-its-4000th-cryptocurrency-atm/
